    That is one of the reasons among other things. The rematch wasn't
    his biggest payday with Oscar but rather the first fight was. Mayweather
    would of made 20MIL for the Oscar rematch at 147 but he made 25MIL
    in the first match at 154. I read somewhere (looking for it now) that
    Oscar was being greedy with the percentages (As usual). Anyways
    Floyd is back and the Mosley fight is but weeks away.

      Dude..there will be no factual documentation available to the public about the negotiation process. BOTTOM LINE, it just doesn't make sense for Oscar to push hard for a rematch and then offer Floyd the same or less amount of the purse for that rematch!!! Think about it!!! IT'S A NON-STARTER AND IMMEDIATELY KILLS THE FIGHT!!!

      Floyd wanted nothing to do with the rematch!! Plain and simple. The FACT is that Floyd knows that if Oscar didn't fade and just won 1 more round, Oscar would have won the first fight!! No way does Floyd want to risk his precious "0" losses!! It's totally understandable!

      I'm not necessarily talking about you, but I'm utterly baffled why Floyd fans insist on defending him. And the excuses his fans make are never original. THEY JUST REPEAT THE SAME DIARRHEA LIST OF EXCUSES THAT FLOYD SPRAYS TO THE MEDIA!!!

      Now this article about Balco which slanders Mosley before this fight!! Just let these guys fight already!! NO MORE EXCUSES!!!

          Too bad this fight didn't take place when both these guys were lightweights.
          Not too much credit do i give to these seniors tour fights.
