Cotto clobbered Paulie and Khan at the very least has the same boxing ability as Cotto if not more. And why is prescott even mentioned in this thread when Paulie couldn't hit as hard as prescott if the gave him a baseball bat and a bottle of steroids.

Yeah, cause Paulie can't test Khans chin because Paulie makes my Grandma seem like a hard puncher. Paulie is going to look foolish against a man his size. This isn't midget Juan Diaz.

Paulie is the one guy who can't KO Khan, but I still have him winning. I don't think Khan lacks heart, but Paulie will be too fast for him.

You know I really don't like Malinaggi- his mouth actually annoys me, but I have to give it to him; at his best, Pauli's looked very slick, very fast- he has some solid technical skills. That said, he doesn't always looks his best and, sometimes, if you hold him to any high standard he looks pretty average.
Amir Khan is pretty fast. I've only seen three or four fights of his, but I can tell speed is what he's building most of his momentum on. If Khan can punch for **** I can easily see Malinaggi looking sharp enough to outbox him the first few rounds.
I mean, Pauli is much more of a veteran to this stage than Amir is. In fact, if he comes out with confidence I could see him intimidating the kid a little. I mean, Pauli has been in tough- we've got to give that to the little ****.
So, if Malinaggi brings it those first few rounds he could have some really nice moments. The problem is, can he keep the puncher off him? Can he string together combinations in succession, all night, with enough accuracy to stop Amir from getting enough rythmn to test his chin.
Pauli can't punch- he'd have to be perfect all night. Amir, on the other hand, is just as fast, probably faster, than the pillow fisted Italiano and might actually dent him.
I wouldn't be shocked for Khan to get outboxed for the early rounds, have the fight looking like Pauli might take it, only for Malinaggi to have a brain fart, or get winded, and let Amir into the fight to the point he puts Malinaggi down.
Something about Pauli tells me he'll look as bad, at some point, as I'm accustomed to seeing him sometimes do when he gets a really big shot. The N'dou fight, the Hatton fight- and he lost to a Diaz who, I'm afraid to say, might be on the decline himself; another pillow fist eating the dust.
I think Amir could drop Pauli and maybe KO him late.
I'll watch hoping he does, at least.
