    his career.
I was thinking the same thing about Glen... and odd that after Glens name in this article they put he (Johnson) beat Jones KO 9th round, but didn't also add Bernard KO'd Johnson 11th round. Hmm, obvious or oversite? Hinky IMO.
I don't know if Jones is done or not, I think he is approaching this fight with the same attitude he had against Calzaghe, which was "I have nothing to lose, and everything to gain." If he loses to Bernard then he's just what people have been saying, "done". However, if he beats Hopkins, a guy who is still on top of his game and dominated Pavlik in every way, maybe in Jones mind it will take away from that nightmare he had called Green. This is way riskier for Hopkins (status wise) who is already calling out winner of Haye-Ruiz.

Roy Jones Jr ain't been the same since Tarver. Jones in my book is done.
The only way Bhop loses this fight is if he doesn't let his hands go like he
has against Taylor and Calzaghe because to me, Hopkins lost them fights
by being too defensive. Roy is like Apollo Creed, just wants the glory
but he should just walk away before he gets humiliated and hurt even
more. Jones had a great career and made lots of money.

you're right, riskier fight for hopkins, if he were to somehow lose. but like i said yesterday, jones winning this fight would be one of the biggest upsets of all time, putting aside hopkins's age. i just can't see any way whatsoever jones pulls this off, and as dude stated earlier, GBP put this out there to make this fight seem more competitive than it is, which is their M.O. **** oscar picked marquez to beat floyd.

Yea, we just don't know which version of either fighter will show up. If Bernard makes this an all defense fight then he could lose on points. IMO.

LMAO at the Apollo Creed statement. That's funny! Hope Roy doesn't come in the ring wearing sparkly red, white and blue American flag shorts and the Uncle Sam hat with a James Brown song. That would be hilarious!

I thought it was pretty sad last night, Dan Raphael saying almost no media was at the pre-fight whatever on Thurs(?) night. It's sad, but telling. Probably only die hard fans who were actually around for the first fight will want to pay for PPV. Should not be a PPV. Would have generated more interest if people didn't have to pay for it IMO.

These guys know the boxing game. Roy is in better shape, they aren't fooled by the danny green KO fluke, and they know roy has all the skills to beat bernard like he did the first time. This shouldn't be seen as a mismatch at all. Roy will win this fight is say 8 rounds to 4. Bhop looks like a skeleton with muscles, roy looks like he did just before moving up to heavyweight.

I find it hard to believe that they are all overlooking how shot-to-pieces Roy Jones Jr is at this point. I can only assume that Golden Boy are doing everything they can to convince the paying public that Jones actually has a chance in this fight, when in reality everyone with two eyes and a braincell knows he doesn't.
