Toney is a former Ring ****zine Cruiserweight champ, is a pound for pound fighter, and in his last 3 fights has beat Holyfield, Booker and Ruiz.

Vitali holds a WBC title that would not be on the line, and his last 3 fights were agaisnt Johnson, Sanders and Williams.

There is nothing saying he deserves the bigger purse.

Vitali has never sold more than 125K PPV buys. Toney sold 150K fighting Holyfield.

There's no reason this fight shouldn't be split at 50/50.

The only one running his mouth here is Vitali. He hasn't fought since December where he origionally planned to fight a 'tune up' before he was to fight Rahman, then planned to fight Rahman, and has now called out two different Heavyweights in one week.

This is nothing but talk, and an ********** playing up a rumor.

IN a points bet we cna put both of our respective wads on the line. Vitali is "the man" in the heavyweight division and the rest are a joke. He should call the shots as he sees fit. The only thing Rahman, Toney, and Brewster are getting in line for is to see who gets knocked out first. Vitali has "never" been behind on any scorecard after the third round of any fight, never been knocked down, never taken a standing eight count, and has only lost two fights(that he was winning on all the cards and got stopped because of injuries). He has never been dominated by anyone in stretches, unlike the former champs have all been(even in fights they eventually won). Anyone who continues to bash Vitali is either a person who just hates "real white guys", or is a Klit fan hater. Your all full of **** regardless of what you say and you can all suck my ****.

Everytime I see biased contrived bull **** like this, I will point it out.

You acuse people of 'hating', but what you're doing going overboard on the other end of the spectrum.

That is an entirly biased, fanatical view of him as a fighter and his career.

      - Vitali LOST to Chris Byrd and Lennox Lewis, the two top fighters he's faced

      - Aside from those two whom he LOST to, his biggest career wins are agaisnt a 260lb Kirk Johnson, Larry Donald, and Corrie Sanders

      - After that, the number of stiffs that make his record so padded are hilighted by names like Danny Williams, Obed Sullivan, Ross Purity, and Orlin Norris

Aside from his two losses, it doesn't say a whole lot with the level of competition he dominated.

And he is a Title Holder in a division where another title holder (who's beat him) has been defending his title for nearly two years longer.

It's sickening to see how much some of you nut huggers try to sugar coat and twist facts to support your fanatical views.

Vitali is a large akward Heavyweight who has still yet to fight many of the other top fighters in this current Heavyweight division, widely regarded as one of the weakest points in history.

James Toney took apart John Ruiz, and that's at the very least on par with any win Vitali's ever had. Don't try and tell me knocking out Orca Johnson or stopping 40 year old Sanders is any better than Toney clearly out pointing Ruiz.

There will be no title on the line.

There's no reason why this fight (should it actually be in the works) shouldn't be an even split.

          No problem.

I can't believe how there is a faction of these fanatics that take the fact Vitali

          - Lost to the only two "A level" fighters he's ever faced
          - Has dominated 3 or 4 "B Level" fighters
          - Has KO'd a large %of "C Level" fighters

and spins that into some kind of Super All time Heavyweight who's dominated every second of every round he's ever fought including his two incidental losses they say

          - He was winning before he lost
          - He was unlucky
          - He was the 'real winner' despite losing

And then act like this perfect logic they believe in means everyone should just assume (like they do) he'd beat every other top 5 Heavyweight around him (even though he hasn't yet) and that he should get the credit for doing so, because it's safe to 'assume' he would.

To top it off, they have the nerve to insult the people who atempt to critisize him in any way, or differ of opinion and regard Vitali as one of the best current Heavyweights who still has something to prove in a wide open division.

Watch all the venom that will now get spit at me...

there is reasons why VK wont fight tony this year, tony doesnt have belt and VK should unify.

after he fights the winner og barret-rahman he will most likely fight brewster.

maybe he will fight tony next year.

            and a question bozo

who do you think would win a VK-Byrd rematch?

This shows how corrupt boxing is........Toney is a cheat, and in any other sport, he'd been either banned for life or banned for 2 years.........

and in a sport where a top boxer only boxes once every 6 months or so, and there are many organizations, he gets banned from 1 (one) (yes only one) for 3 months....which is totally irrelevant as he wouldn't have been boxing within this time anyway.........

what are the real sports fans supposed to say to this!?!?............
