    Right?
Exactly. Instead of *****ing about it be proactive and stop watching his fights and giving him ratings points.

It's a shame nobody gave a **** about this lady 2 years ago when the allegations were first made. Where was the outrage then?

Even before that Bonnie and Clyde, Outlaw cowboys, Frontiersman scout Indian hunters. This is America, might makes right. Not changing any time soon. Its not a ****** thing a black thing white thing. Its an American thing

It really is a shame. It's crap what he did, and he deserves flack. But the fact that no one gave a hell 2 years ago and are bringing it up now?

Makes them look like petty, shallow pusseys trying to bring a man who now has fame and fortune, down on a messageboard

True. Movies about organized crime were very popular in the 1930s and 1940s.

Humphrey Bogart became a big star by playing criminals in the late 30s, although he moved on to other roles later in his career.

But someone who punches and robs old ladies is not a tough guy. Adrien Broner is just a ****** and de****able scumbag.

              Yep. Pathetic.

There's a lot of good guys in boxing like Robert Guerrero who I've been following since he was at 126. Guerrero was always a promising talent but could never land the big fights at the lower weights. (Pacquiao, Marquez, Barrera, Morales, etc.)

Where I'm going with this is, why don't people support fighters like Guerrero? Why do fighters like him have to go on Twitter to beg for fights while guys like Broner get placed into pound for pound lists, headline HBO fights in AC and generate good ratings for HBO.

Fact of the matter is, boxing fans (you guys in this very thread) are infatuated with controversy. You don't want the good guys to be on top. That's boring and there's nothing to talk about. You see it all the time.

What were they saying about Dawson/Ward 24/7: "they're boring family guys. Who wants to see this?"

You guys don't want boring, family guys to be on top. You want controversy. You want a bad guy to root against. You want ignorance. You want that street ****.

Mike Tyson got away with raping a young woman but was an even bigger megastar when he came out of jail. Setting record PPV buys and gate figures against no-names like Peter McNeeley.

That's what boxing fans want. That's what's going to get you guys to tune into HBO WCB, buy $70 PPVs and pay $400-$500 for tickets. That's what you guys want to talk about on boxing forums. You don't want to talk about Robert Guerrero handing out turkeys on Thanksgiving to lower income families.

Bad guys in boxing get ahead because its what the fans want. Period. If you don't like it, be proactive and stop watching their fights and support the good guys.

Not that it matters, but where does it say it was an old woman? Is there another link to a more detailed story?

This is about the dumbest post yet on this thread. And the people who agree with this post is just as dumb.
I can guarantee you that a lot of people cared what happen to that old lady 2 years ago. Like her family and friends. And truthfully thats all that ****ing matters!!!!
Broner was a nobody prospect making small ripples in the boxing scene. Who gave a shlt about Broner on here? He got no love or hate on this site. So it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that the more known you get the more attention you get. Hence the reason everyone now holds him accountable for his wrong. How the **** can you not???

why dont you ask her family who cares.

That's not what I meant. Nobody in this thread cared about her 2 years ago given that it only had 8 responses. It gets bumped overnight and now all of the sudden its over 200 responses.

This same outrage should have been present in 2010 when the incident happened. And people like you should have been proactive with your outrage and not support Adrien Broner by contributing to his ratings on HBO.

But like I said in my last post. This is what you guys crave as boxing fans. You love controversy, you love villains and that's why certain guys are being appointed the next generation of stars and others aren't.

If boxing fans wanted good guys to get ahead, Andre Ward with his skills, resume and character should be the biggest star in the sport right now. But that's not what you want to see or talk about. You want Broner.
