It's A Sad Day For Boxing When...

Regardless of whether you think Andre Dirrell was really knocked out by that shot or just acting, it's a terribly sad day when "boxing fans" criticize a man for being a victim of a blatant foul. Abraham showed no class in the post fight interview when he referred to Dirrell as "a good actor."

Shame on some of you people.

I agree, we got to see how Abraham reacts to defeat and when things don't go his way.

agreed...i really hate to bring it to pac/mayweather...but this is one of the reason's why pacquaio is well respected and mayweather is so hated...people view integrity as a high attribute in boxers...and for the same people who apparently feel that way to claim dirrell is faking just because they like AA better as a fighter is sad...he hit a man while he was down...a dirty move...i like AA too...but that was completely uncalled for and anyone who defends it needs to be kicked in the ass...

So people are already accusing Dirrell of "acting"? He was hit while he was down square on the jaw and he never saw it coming. Give me a break... And while I am an AA fan, I think he acted like a damn fool after the fight. But I think he'll come to his senses after he watches it over again.

Well I knew it was going to happen weird things as soon as I was told that Cole was the ref.
He allowed Dirrell to hit low and didnt do a ****, didnt even issue a warning to Dirrell.
He ruled AA's perfect KD of Dirrell a slip in the 10th RD, a typical Cole thing.
On top of that , he didnt understand that Dirrell tried to escape from AA's punches by faking a slip 4-5 times, the last so called "slip" came just before the end of the fight, Dirrell should start a career as an actor in Hollywood.
Cole should never be allowed to be a ref in a title fight, he can be kept as a ref in small club 4 rd fights where he can ruin the career of prospects...

Regardless of if he was faking it or not AA deserved to get DQ for trying to gain advantage illegally.

if he wouldnt have faked it, the fight would have continued, and abe would have had a chance to finish it. dirrell was boxing the hell out of AA, but AA WAS coming on strong at the end. alot could have happened in those last 2 rounds. i dont see how it is not a clear evident possibility that he faked it. sure he got fouled, but people arent criticizing him for that, they are criticizing him for potentially faking his way out of the last 2 rounds of a fight. who knows, dirrell could have surely outboxed AA for the last 2 rounds.

all i know is AA needs to abandon that ******ed ass *let me give the first 8 rounds away then start fighting* strategy and fight like a 20 year old tyson, then hed destroy people. he has the chin to do it. AA lost a fan tonight though, he gave that fight away. ****er just wouldnt throw.

It is sad, it's very sad when boxing fans here overlook the fragrant foul and accuse Dirrell of acting when we should be concerned about his health. I hope to god that Andre did not sustain any serious brain injuries...
