Mayweather will most likely not only break even with Pacquiao PPV and GROSS numbers but surpass them.

So in 7 fights compared to Pacquiao 12.
Mayweather will eclipse him in both PPV and GROSS..

Both, if you really look at it... These dude Drawing power is damn near the same with or without De la Hoya !!!
not bad for a kid from a third world country and a black fighter who supposedly has no crossover appeal right?

      it really isnt.. at all
These guys are really rivals right now in all aspects.

Good guy vs.Bad Guy (any guy can play this role)
      Offense vs. Defense
      Speed vs. Speed
      Small man vs. Small man
      p4p vs. p4p
the list goes on and on....

These guys really do rival each other.
and in terms of draw. They are damn near equal.

Cotto was actually 74 million because it was 59.95 per PPV

Anyway what % did Mayweather get for Oscar. I dunno but I want to find out

Pacquaio is a very great seller of PPV for someone who wasn;t born or lives in the US

Floyd is good for someone who lives in the US

Oh and how much of those dolalrs did Maywetaher keep compared to Pac?

WHY HAVE ONE OF THE BEST PPV NUMBERS BUT BE BROKE?

dont know if you saw all the melee but I think thats what I was driving home today debating both Manny and Floyd fans alike

in the end these guys have no peer amongst them and deserve the praised as such

in a sport where we worried where the next DLH would come from I find myself fortunate that we have two in Mayweather and Pacquiao

if people hate on that so be it

mAYWETAHER'S ppv numbers should start from Marquez because he went broke.

All those numbers before Marquez and he still went broke.

Basically he started off before Marquez worse than Castillo is now lol

Considering that Pacquiao's not an American, has come from the lower weights, and the fact that three of those PPVs are in the midst of recession, those aren't bad numbers. Considering also that the exchange rate in the Phils. is 50 pesos to a dollar and that he doesn't have to pay as much taxes as Mayweather...

Do you have the figures of the next highest PPV grossing non-American boxer?Trinidad probably?

both are certified ppv boxers, plain and simple. Its not who is the bigger crowd drawer, or who brings in the bigger bucks. Both of them are, at this point in time.

i have read on this forum that mayweather/mosley will do around 1.5m buys which would take mayweather to 339m dollars in 7 fights which is more than pac's 12 which is good figures. if this does occur then mayweathers average in 7 fights would b more than 48m and pac's in 12 fights would b over 26m

                      Yes but he went broke.

You think he aims to have high PPV numbers and be broke?
