After the Pascal fight (which Chad *should* win on decision), Dawson and Cloud should get it on. That would be a far better fight than Dawson-Hopkins.

this is bull****, im a fan of hopkins but hes avoiding dawson. money wise hes right but as for his legacy nothing does more for it then beating dawson. maybe not to the mainstream fans who rank pac or floyd in the top 10 all time and the klits the best HWs ever, but to real fans who know whats up.

real fans know dawson is the truth and that both calzaghe and now hopkins ducked him when they fought the corpse of roy jones. joe didnt want to risk his 0 and hopkins doesnt want to risk a potential fight with haye, whatever excuse they have neighter one can say they never ducked anyone no more.

im a bigger fan of hopkins then dawson by far but i gotta speak the truth, not too long ago he said he would fight dawson when he establishes a name. maybe he wants to let dawson fight pascal and cloud while he fights haye and then come back and pick up all the belts. tbh im not sure he would win now, cant see him win after a a few more years in the game. and after all these excuses i wanna see it first hand before i believe it, doesnt seem like he has any intentions to fight dawson at any point.

ofcourse he does...he knows Dawson would win every round.....Hopkins can't handle "real' speed.

at 45 the money would have to make sense, and with chad it doesnt.
chad is a talent, but he doesnt have a huge following, he doesnt sell out arenas and is NOT a ppv fighter.
at 45 hop has earned the right to pick and choose.
and to be honest, i think hop would be a hard fight for him, hopkins is a ring general, he wouldnt be chasing chad, but have chad chasing him to score points while all along setting traps for him as we have seen so many times.

Funny, Hopkins has never been a PPV draw himself, but now he is going to complain about other fighters not being PPV draws. This crap is one of the things ruining the sport.

I like Hopkins but I find it comical that he trashed Dawson for not being able to sell out arenas including in Connecticut, when Hopkins last fight was a less than full arena in yes, his hometown of Philly.

I been avoiding the B.Hop threads the last few days....I haven't really put my foot down in any of them yet......I'm tempted right now but I'll fall back and let you dudes throw rocks at the throne......the King of the 40 plus year olds of boxing wants to become HW champ......some historic **** right there!!.....Chad Dawson is one of the coolest dudes in the game personality wise....but he doesn't bring anything to the table worth getting up for......young UNDEFEATED lion with excellent speed and footwork.....above average skills, a cute resume and not so bad looking wife I must say .....but seriously, how can you honestly say B.Hop is ducking Chad when he's campaigning to fight a HW belt holder who's by far a more dangerous fight than Chad?!?.....it makes no sense but I learned long time ago that this is not the place to make sense.....you either nuthug or hate......B.Hop would beat Chad DECISIVELY imo......the same guys who says B.Hop is too old and he's boring, this that and the third are the SAME ones saying he should fight Chad .....like I said things said here doesn't make sense sometimes!!!

agreed on all points.
i like chad, i think he is a superior athlete with great skills.
however, he does NOT have that killer instinct. he is content to win on his bicycle on points.
he also does not have the best chin. i think hopkins ud's him, hop wouldnt be chasing him, but setting traps, and i think very well cloud may knock him out..
chad is ducking cloud, who is a very dangerous opponent

It makes sense what B-Hop is saying even though I want him and Dawson to fight.

What I have been thinking though is why is B-Hop vs. Roy in Vegas? Both are east coast based fighters who never drew the biggest crowds. This fight would have been better to have in Atlantic City or maybe even Miami. Putting this fight in vegas is dumb and add on to it that nobody really wants to see it. Fight would have done better numbers attendance wise if it was on the east coast.
