You're acting like Clottey was out there beating all kinds of people before this. His best win is a faded Zab Judah.

It's the truth. Pac did everything in his power to make that an exciting fight and the bigger stronger guy went into a shell and just tried to survive. Clottey talks about being a warrior but he is not one. I think he is a pretty soft fighter. At least guys like Hatton, Diaz and Morales stood in there and took it like men. Clottey knew that if he traded with Pac he would have been hurt and eventually knocked out. So the **** what, your getting paid over a million dollars to entertain the fans and try to win a title not to try to survive. I will never pay to watch Clottey again.

he seems like a nice and humble person who gave both Cotto and Margarito problems, two of the toughest welterweights at that time. if he would've went balls out.. i would say he would've deserved a shot at redemption, wouldn't you?

Harsh, yet very true. He felt very comfortable with doing nothing, and doesn't even acknowledge that he didn't try. If Pacquiao had landed just one or two flush punches in each round, I'd call them 10-8 rounds...

This was worse than Victor Ortiz's "No Mas" against Maidana...At least Ortiz was a young, naive prospect who fought his best and just gave up after taking brutal shots...Clottey is an elite WW and he didn't even try to win at all! If he had taken more chances, he would have won at least four rounds in my opinion.
