Size doesn't mean anything right? Certainly 2 pounds is nothing according to you? Good night my dude. Sleep on that.
Yes, I do know the adage that a good bigger man most likely defeats a good smaller man... And, I agree with that statement...

But, you have to admit that there are fighters that come once in a generation like Pacquiao/Mayweather/Leonard/Armstrong that have the GOD given ability to climb the weights... Thats my only point...

As per your question,,,,, Size is not the only factor that wins fights... Yes it is and important ingredient but there are things like skill, speed, stamina, and other intangibles that make a fighter great... That said,,, yes Marquez was outweighed but he was also in the losing column in terms of speed, endurance, reflexes, reach, and lastly overall skill....

Even if they were the same size,,,, I would still favor Mayweather... Its just too bad with all of Mayweather's apparent advantages, he still felt the need to cheat him at the scales....

Hahaha. Love the way that was written. Hey Manny, if the tests come back negative your reputation is intact.

No offense my dude but I'm here to talk intelligent boxing not pure ****. After reading that **** you wrote about Manny setting a precedent by asking for 10 milli per LB over that was all I needed to read. Where were you during the Corrales/Castillo over the limit fiasco? They have stern rules already in place to deal with that all in favor of the non-abuser. yes there is fighters with God given tools to climb weight like the guys you name but let's reserve the right to put Manny's name on that list because all of the ones you named would've been too prideful not to submit to random testing.
Then you say Manny and Floyd submitting to OSRT in the biggest fight in boxing history wouldn't set a new standard in boxing? Im here to talk intelligently even if we don't agree but that **** is nutty.

Huh??? 10 million per pound is a precedent.... Isnt that what the *****s were crying about????

And no, OST wouldnt set a new standard in boxing.... Thinking that it will is being naive to the effectiveness and enforcement of OST... According to doctors there are a whole host of PEDs that are undetectable with present blood/urine tests... Just look at Olympic athletes (Marion Jones) that were never caught....

For OST to be effective, requires testing THROUGH OUT THE YEAR, not only when a fighter is scheduled to fight....

In short, a true fail safe test has yet to be introduced...

So, yea, I really dont see that happening even if OST was agreed in Mayweather/Pacuiao fight...

BTW... "biggest fight in history".... LOL I watched Hagler/Hearns, Leonard/Hearns, Leanord/ Hagler on short curcuit live tv..... And my father was at Arenetta for Ali/Frazier.... Boxing is not what it used to be...

I'd rather see Pc-Mosley tbh. But if Pac and Floyd come out on top of their upcoming fights they better get this match made. There's not much more they can say about each other. They need to fight.
