To those saying Floyd CANT Knock Down Shane I have a homework assignment for you:

    Does Shane throw wild punches?

Does he have his eyes closed when he does that?

Does Floyd have GREAT speed, reflexes and accuracy?

Is Floyd a GREAT counter puncher with insane timing?

What punches hurt you the most?

Answer those. Then ask yourself can he knock down Shane.

It almost seems like Bob Arum is trying to get Pacquiao to fight the guy that he feels mayweather didnt want too. Beat them, and his argument is, Floyd didn't wanna fight him, manny did and you see what happened then. Their was a contract on the table for the two to meet, floyd signed his, manny didn't. I hate to tell you this bro, but pacquaio was in mayweather's shadow the minute he turned down a guaranteed 25mil for his refusal to take random style blood testing. Then signed to fight Clottey ( a guy who lost to cotto, who pacquiao just demolished) for 6mil.

Most American boxing fan when they first heard floyd's request for Olympic style testing thought, either mayweather was looking for a way out of the fight, or he's just trying to get in pacquiao's head. So a lot of people thought once pacquiao took the test and proved mayweather wrong, we'll just wait and see what mayweather ask's for next. However, he never took the test, IMO, never wanted to for whatever reason. Some people will say that it was unneccessary and for those of you who do, maybe you forget some of our GREAT american athletes who lied directly in our face when asked if they took PED's. Marion Jones, Tim Montgomery, Shane Mosley, Mark Mc Gwire and Roy JOne's just to name a few. Baseball was devastated by the way records were broken by these cheaters, and for americans who pay there hard earned money in these tough economic times to have to cough up 49.99 every ppv. All i ask for is that im paying to see guys who are clean, not cheating the sport.

Mayweather never said himself that Pacquiao is taking steroids, he just feels like there's something up when a guy does all this posturing and changes his stance on the position as often as they have. Had Pacquiao just told mayweather to go f-ck himself and took a walk then nobody would think a thing except "there's a man with pride thats not gonna let some bull**** unnecessary politics come in between him and boxing greatness. I can tell you the reason why even though he wanted to walk he didnt' and tried to continue negotiate still. Its because of all the demands that Mayweather excepted before the fight, that he had to at least listen to him. Mayweather agreed to everything that Pac's camp wanted, and really didnt put up much of a fight. 10 mil pr pound, he agreed, moving dates around for the press conference so it wouldnt interfere with Pac's election he agreed. Wearing 8oz gloves, mayweather agreed. 50-50 split, mayweather agreed.

The only thing mayweather asked for was random blood testing up until the fight. Remember what pacquiao's team response was, keep up there were a lot of suspect reasons. First they werent going to take it at all. Realizing there fighter would look guilty of something, they wanted to lead the fans on to believe they were willing to do so. Then it was we'll take blood test but not random ones. Then it was manny is afraid of needles because (depending upon who you ask, when he fought Erik morales they supposedly took blood from him the same day). When i 1st heard the story it was reported they took blood two days before the fight, now i saw manny on some talk show in his country and he said it was the day of because the Nevada state athletic commission lost his results. Then it went to ok we're take random blood test but only if we know when they are going to stop testing. From there it went from, no testing up until 30 days before the fight, then 24days, then ill take it right after the fight, to 14 days is not fair, fight off. Who the **** are they kidding, americans are not ******, he was never taking that ****ing test to begin with, thats why he already had Clottey as an opponent before negotiations actually fell apart.

Manny is good, borderline great, but not g.o.a.t status. He had his opportunity to prove that, but he wants us to believe that 5ml of blood two weeks before the fight would have an effect on his performance come fight night. When its all said and done at the end of the day us as fans are wondering why manny didnt step up and not why mayweather asked, the more it goes on its obvious why mayweather did so. But like i as boxing fans all the time and ill ask again maybe ill get a good answer. IF mayweather used O.S.T as a way to get out of the fight, even though he signed his contract. Question 1. How did he know Manny wasnt going to accept it, after he accepted all his terms. and 2. Do you look at manny like he has something to hide because he didnt take the blood test and never signed his contract? The two theories go hand and hand, so you cant say one, without believing the other.
This is one of the GREATEST posts I have ever read.

If Shane tries to outbox Floyd, hes gonna get picked apart, he doesnt have the jab.

If he tries to go for the 1 punch ko, hes going to risk a KD himself.

If he tries to put pressure, hes going to be busted up with uppercuts, short rights on the inside and get his body worked.

Really shane doesnt have more than a puncher's chance on Floyd

Look again. When he throws the left hook usually he has the right hand in a picture perfect position right against his cheek.

Wtf do you mean he doesn't have the power? Have you seen the fight hatton vs tszyu? Hatton took a lots of punishment that night..he was still on his feet..no one belived floyd could drop hatton.

It's about timing and speed..if you get hit in the jaw by a solid fast punch..lights out mate!

Why would you set Shane up like that Sam? Are you trying to ruin a HOF fighter in Shane? SWEET JESUS!!!!!!!

IDK if his hands are as frigile as they used to be, he did take a break from the sport. That's something that we have to take into consideration.

Although Floyd does not have great one punch power at this weight, his speed and accuracy creates that power in his punches. Floyd is not considered a big puncher but a well placed and timed shot can put Shane down, especially if Shane happens to be off balance when Floyd throws it. Will that happen? It remains to be seen. Can it happen? You all KNOW that ANYTHING can happen in boxing. And I personally believe Floyd could put Shane down, based SOLELY on the timing and accuracy of Floyd's punches and I know Shane has a good chin.

Now, on the flip side, Shane can put Floyd down with a clean shot because Shane can crack, although Floyd has a SUPERB defense. Will that happen? It remains to be seen. But you all better believe that Shane is bringing his best against Floyd and that he will be prepared. Dude is extra motivated and he will go all out on May 1st. Although I believe that Floyd will outbox Shane over 12 rounds, it will be a great fight for both of these guys, HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE A MODERN CLASSIC TYPE FIGHT, SOMETHING I CAN SAY I WITNESSED LIVE!
