Yep he's a come forward fighter with no defense. Mosley struggles with technical boxers who have good movement and speed- both of which Floyd has in abundance. If Cotto can outbox Mosley, Floyd should have no trouble outboxing an older version who hasn't fought in over a year.

Your right, i went back to look at the Mayorga vs Mosley match again and while you right that Mayorga didnt land as many shots as i thought he did, up until just now i saw it once, but the fact of the matter is as far as boxing skill goes, Mosley had a harder time than expected with a limited boxer. Now we agree on some things but i disagree with your theory about the Cotto/Mosley fight. Yes, it was a close fight, but i watched that fight numerous times, and Cotto bagged enough early rounds to where he was able to sit on his lead. BUt his jab was sharper, and hitting shane with more frequency than the other way around. And Cotto did beat Clottey too, IMO, that fight was closer to score than the Mosley/cotto one. Nevertheless,l thought Cotto won both fights. Your right, would've loved to see what the decision to that fight would've been if they were in vegas.

i agreed with the CLottey assessment, but Clottey's problem was that he didnt seem to understand he had a wounded horse in front of him, and i never saw him step on the gas with a sense of urgency to finish the fight, it just seemed like he was content to going the distance, where if he would've pressed him he couldve got the knockout.
