Originally posted by Runw/knivesI think Brewster should make an example out of John Ruiz first...and really make him go bye bye. Im talking about sending his ass through the ropes like he did against Golota.
You think Ruiz can weather that attack anyone? I got 20 million points on that.
I'm glad we agree again... just as I was writing my post (below)...

Maybe it's just me, but I can't honestly say I'd want to see John Ruiz fight anyone.
His "title" is beyond tainted now that he's lost it to two middleweights.

What gets me is you talking about Wlad being a "step backwards" for the WBO champion, yet thinking Wlad should get a crack at Byrd.
If there's any title Wlad should get a shot at, it would be the WBO, not the IBF.
Personally, I would be disgusted to see Brewster fight Vitali, because it would be the FOURTH time he's avenged Wlad's loss for him.
Brewster is a champ. Brewster beat Wlad to get the belt. Why would he fight him again unless it's mandatory?
On the other hand.. Wlad beat Byrd (badly) Wlad becomes his mandatory now that Rahman and Barrett are out of the picture. Yes, Wlad should fight Byrd.
Actually -> Byrd should fight Wlad.

I never thought I'd ever see a great white champ scaring (almost) everyone in the division again.
