Why do people act like a tough fight with Martinez is someting to be ashamed of? Martinez is a good fighter who gave Cintron hell and will do the same to Pavilk.

Nope.

He has an entertaining style and looks to fight the best. That's all I really ask for from a boxer.

Of course, Burner's obsessive trolling about him makes it harder to publicly support the guy, but that's not Paul's fault.

I hope Pavlik beats Martinez and then faces Williams. We all expected a great fight with that one and if they can finally get each other in the ring then I think it still would be a FOTY candidate.

By the way, Williams has a higher KO% than Margarito, so the view that Paul just slaps whereas Marg destroys people with severe beatings isn't all that accurate.

I don't like Williams's people but how can you not like Williams himself?

He's entertaining,fights the best he can,and he doesn't slap anymore,he sits down on his punches more besides his volume of punches is one of his main assets.

They feared for different reasons. Margarito was feared cuz peeps knew they would be in for a beatdown, Williams if feared cuz they know they gonna cop an L.

I like PW. He always wants the biggest fights but never gets them. It's hard to say anything negative about him without coming across like a twat.

Nope, I don't hang out in the hip hop forum, I gave up on hip hop in the early 90's when it started getting ruined. But Paul Williams is a very good fighter, and a close fight with Martinez (who is a total badass, IMO) is nothing to be ashamed of. I thought Paul just sc****d the win.

He's a good fighter, throws nearly 1000's punches per 12 rounds, is never in a boring fight and wants to fight everyone.

Martinez beat the **** out of him and got robbed.

When a fight is that close, it's not really possible to call it a robbery. A robbery is when one guy wins very clearly and still doesn't get the nod.

Paul is somewhat overrated by some, and does play the avoided card a little too much, but come on.

Paul Williams is a fearless, exciting fighter with a personality. He is good for the sport.
