I didnt know that Gans was the first African-American champ. When I clicked on Shadows link and seen what it was the first thing out my mouth was oh I seen this video before. Then I was just in a trance watching him. I had a paper in Highschool on him for black history month.

None of that is really surprising. A good african-american boxer would have beat Pacquiao. Even at 32 Floyd will whoop that ass. We have a long tradition on this sport and it's not coincidence EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE REAL ATG are african-americans.
