Maybe Shane Mosley hasn't fallen off

Mosley lost two VERY CLOSE decisions against Winky Wright and that continued his losing streak and his fight against Estrada which was very lopsided on the scorecards in his favor was supposed to be his "comeback" fight...

Well after Saturday night, maybe boxing people were hasty. One judge scored the second fight with Winky a draw and the other two had Winky 115-113

Shane is 40-4, but his only two losses are to Vernon Forrest (who only one guy has been able to beat) and to Winky. Guess sometimes somebody might just have your number...

I don't think Shane has never looked the same after that 1st Forrest fight.

I think that took a lot out of him!

I was kinda thinking the same thing about Mosely. In their 2nd fight it was very close & made me wonder about how well Mosely would do against Tito. He really had no business in the jr. middle division anyway, he's too small. The move back to welter should improve him alot, he might be able to dominate the division.

The first fight was not close. Wright beat Mosley 8-4.

The rematch was closer, but it was due to the fact that Wright was not putting %100 into it. I believe that Wright only did enough to win in the rematch. This way Trinidad's people would think they would have a chance against him.

Wright fought a very good fight against Trinidad. But in terms of being able to get a rematch, he screwed himself. Wright controlled the fight so well, he should have let Trinidad win 5 rounds.

By beating Trinidad so convincingly , it shut out Wright from a chance to make many more millions in a rematch.

I think you missed what I was saying.. Read it again fella, I wasn't talking about the Mosley vs Forrest fight, I was saying that Mosely never looked the same again after...

GURU, I agree completely. Shane had no business going up to throw hands with the bigger guys. Oscar did fairly well in Jr Middle, but you could still see flaws in his fights. Now that both of these guys are at Welter, it should bring up some good fights. Possible opponents: Zab, Margarito, and Tszyu. These guys are still in their prime in my opinion. I would love to see Shane go up against Margarito with the winner going against the winner of Zab vs Oscar. good times.

Either way Mosley just gained tons of confidence back.
