The truth is Pacquaio is not among the top three P4P fighters in history in ANY DIVISION and definitely not top three P4P overall.
    P4p in any division?

    Lol

Not true in Ali's case, in his prime his defense was not practical however it worked well. His defense became porous as his movement and reactions began to slow! He was unconventional but no one stopped him, Manny was stopped because his defense was suspect throughout his career.
I do not degrade a fighter who has KO looses as long as the opponent was quality however it does take away from his status as an elite competitor.
(I'm not talking about stoppages that occurred far from prime years)

      Ray
Ali depended on his speed and reflexes not technical skills on defense.

Much in the same way as roy.

That's why they were more susceptible to getting hit as they aged.

Pac was stopped at flyweight twice early on his career. 1 by 1 punch ko and 1 by getting worn down after being overweight.

From super bantamweight to welterweight, a span of 15 yrs, he was koed once.

By jmm after 4 fights and 42 rounds in a foty level slugfesy.

Watch Ali slip & roll against Ernie T. and tell me that's not technique?
Just because his hands are down doesn't make reflexes alone. The moves are defensive techniques.
Yes Ali was a one of a kind heavyweight but their were others who used the same techniques in the lower weight classes. Ali idolized Sugar Ray and learned plenty from a combination of Joe Louis and Ezzard Charles.

Shoulder rolls from a 6'3-4" man is a strange sight to see but Ali did a lot of great moves as a young fighter. That's why the years stolen from him would have been his greatest, no doubt in my mind.
Ali was the most adaptable heavyweight of all time!
I get sick of kids on here saying he couldn't punch..........BS!
When he took center ring and spread his stance his punches came with speed and sharpness and theres plenty of men who did not punch with him.
Look at Listons face after 7 rounds, maybe the ref was beating him up?

        ok good night boys Ray

Didn't say he had no skills.

But a lot of his defense was not technical.

That's why when he lost his speed all he did mostly was clinch.
