Not sure but I am guessing Welter weight because the UFC is more in lbs than ours.

The same as boxing only in MMA it's 155 lbs instead of 154(or so I've read).

Beats me,I rarely watch it only when a big mediated event is on like Silva-Liddell,Kimbo vs anyone,Carano-Cyborg,Coleman-Couture and those type stuff.
Watching Couture-Coleman did I learn a HW is 205.

I got the 155 weight from a bio on some site about Thomas while researching him and it said ''division:155 lbs''.

Yep UFC has higher weight limit with same names.

It's about right though since humans are getting bigger.

160 is quite light for this day and age. Welter seems fine

180 is about middle.

Isn't their Heavy 205+

I love Mayorga. He is an entertaining fighter. Its a shame that Don King wasted his contract.
