Poter doesn't seem to have that Natural Talent... you can see that he's had quality training, but lacks instict. He is getting tagged more and more by a guy he was suppose to get out of there in the first.

A good learning experience for Porter..... and I guess that question is settle. He may be the best sparring partner, but he still has a lot to improve and learn.

Carefully matched, he can make a nice living from the sport and give us a couple of wars....

To be honest I see a lot of people discrediting Porter and it's not to hype him up but we have to see the type of opponent he's in there with, he was a southpaw with a reach and height advantage, it would make a lot of people look bad, it probably was the first southpaw he was in with.

I don't think people are discrediting him because how he looked against this opponent but rather on how he fights and conducts himself in the ring. I mean the bouncing up and down and the wild punches he were throwing was obvious. I just don't see the big deal about this kid.

Shawn Porter is all hype, he needs to dance with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Omar Henry would destroy him!

kid needs to at least TRY to make 147.
i doubt he can cuz he's so stocky, but he should try to remake his body and try.

also, i think he does have talent. hes got fast hands and feet. he just doesnt have the patience to work his way in. he's gotta improve his footwork as well. that bouncing sht (especially when in punching range) has got to go. he looked better when he was giving angles and using his footwork to punch off angles, but he stays in the pocket too long.
punch and turn. punch and turn.

Yup... I happen to think Lara (poor mans pacman) and Porter would be good. I think Shawn would take that fight btw.

I watched this 10 round fight and it was the first time I'd seen either one of these guys. I was expecting Shawn Porter to be a monster from all the hype but after the fight my thought was, if these guys have day jobs they'd better not quit them. Both had 10 kos and I found myself wondering what quality of opposition they were fighting to get 10 kos. Neither one had any power. Jordan had problems letting his punches go. Porter has a looooong way to go before he makes it to the big leagues......if he makes it at all.
