I think Berto will pull this one out with a UD. But then again Quintana is not one to be taken lightly. Quintana is not a bad a fighter, but his losses are BAD losses. He took a MEAN body shot from Cotto that put him down for good. P Will gave a whooping on him like RJ jr gave to Griffin in his rematch with him. So I think this really is Quintanas last shot at Elite status at 147.

But I do think that Berto will be able to pull off a UD with this one.

This is a great chance for Quintana to become relevent again. He will be out matched in the speed department, but he counters very well. This mixed with Berto's suspect chin should way heavily for Quintana. I see him becoming the new WBC champ by way of TKO.

Watch the winner of Mayweather/Mosely to be the next match up for Carlos should he win.

I see alot of you guys giving Berto more props than he deserves
in regards to this fight. Berto hasn't fought anybody to date with
exception to Collazo and he almost if not lost that fight and then
he fought Urango and didn't look impressive against him at all.
Quintana has been in with REAL guys at 147. Quintana even beat
Paul when he was lunching, boxed him pretty good too. Then
Quintana moved up and KO'd an opponent at 154. What has
Berto done? Quintana is a more seasoned fighter than Berto.
Berto has all the talent but not the trainers to bring it out of
him the same as Cotto. If Berto doesn't organize and rearrange
his team I'm afraid we will see the same Andre Berto each fight.
I'm giving Quintana a very positive chance to win this fight.

Im currently in Puerto Rico and I work out at Carlos's gym. We have spoken on several accounts and he seems pretty confident going into this fight. I speak with his nutritionist daily so I stay updated on whats going on... He's currently in Isla verde training with Jose Bonilla. He usually sits around 160-5ish and his weight concerns me just a bit but he stays in shape all year round. I'll definitely be rooting for him 100%.
