pacquiao gets way too much credit for beating old washed up fighters. i'll say he's fast has some power but he's just a brawler. who has he ever outboxed? i mean this is still boxing right? he relies on speed and power which could be caused by steroids. Manny will have to take the test to stop speculation it's as simple as that. He should have took the fight with Mosley another fighter who relies on speed and power and not real boxing. Two brawlers now that's a fight that I would have bought. But brawlers can't beat real boxers too much skill. But yeah if Mayweater-Mosley outsells Pacquiao-Clottey like I know it will. It should be AT LEAST 60-40.

The only way he should ask for more money is if his fight with Mosley does significantly more ppvs than Pac Cotto. Cotto has more drawing power than Mosley so that would be a fair comparison. He would have to out sell it clearly though. If it were to do 1.3 mill ppv then the split should stay 50/50. If it does 1.5 mill then Floyd has a point.

That's a huge if. Pac gets very frustrated if he can't hit a fighter clean. He's not gonna hit Clottey clean too often. I think Clottey will knock Pac out in the 11th round via left hook.

I think it will do more than Pac and Cotto. Cotto does have more drawing power, but thats not why I see it should be compared to that ppv. Honestly Pac vs Clottey is basically Pac drawing power. That ppv does maybe around 800,000 if breaks a million or comes close I would be suprised. Mosley vs Mayweather most def. breaks a million it has far more firepower in it than Pac vs Clottey. So this fight should easily outsell Pac Clottey. Thats why it should be compared to Pac vs Cotto instead.

Clottey actually does box. He fights a lot like Marquez but he has more power, better defense and is a very good body puncher. Remember Pac has been stopped by a body shot before and I've seen JMM hurt him with a counter left hook. Check the tapes

You think so? I want everyone who's counting Clottey out to check the videos of any Clottey fights and JMM fights. What your looking for is similarities in style. After you check those videos then give an honest assessment of who you're going to pick. I believe Clottey will win by KO in the 11th especially since Pac loves to mix it up and test out his pain tolerance level.

Pac resume isn't all that great.

Pac beat a washed up Barrera who went through massive wars with Morales and gained famed from beating Hamed;
A washed up Morales who moved up in weight and managed to beat Pac 1 out of 3
1 draw and a controversial win over JMM, then ran away from the guy to avoid a rematch.
Great win over Oscar whom he drained down to 147lbs a weight he hadn't been to in over 7 years. There's also buzz that Team Pac makes fighters sign a rehydration clause. That would explain why Oscar looked so frail.

A sensational win over Hatton whom Floyd already knocked out in a higher weight class.

A great win over Cotto who was shell shocked from Margarito's brick bombs, a tough fight with Clottey and having to drop weight.

So, the bottom line is Pac just has an exciting style.

Barrera was number 3 P4P when Manny stopped him,Barrera was fresh of wins over Kelley,Tapia,Hamed and Morales 2.

As for De La Quitta,he fought Forbes at 150 just before,he just had to cut 3 pounds,while Manny had to moved up from 135 where he just fought once.
