I don't doubt it. People now forget that at the peak of Corrales career he was considered one of, if not THE hardest puncher in boxing. I remember Jim Lampley making that statement. Even top fighters at that time like Derrick Gainer and Angel Manfredy could not survive his power beyond the third round. Serious punching power is what saved him in that first Castillo fight. I don't think he was ever the same after that fight though.
