The ratings are as of the beginning of April so they don't take into account Brock's win against McCline.

Barrett #1/Rahman #2 are already fighting each other for the WBC interim Title on 7/23/05. Wlad #3 just beat Williamson #4. Byrd already fought #5 McCline. Byrd won't fight Valouev #6.

No one on that list deserves a shot more than the #3 IBF ranked, former WBO champion, Olympic gold medallist, Wladimir Klitschko. That's why Chris "The Yellow Chicken" Byrd should face him. Byrd already lost a title to Wladimir once that's why he's bitching out now.
      Great post!!!

Frierui can you name one occasion when Golota was "KTFO" except against Lewis when he was doped on Lidocaine and awarded 950k in damages. What makes you think Wlad would be the first one to do it.

Side effects of improper Lidocaine dosing to the vein

          Anxiety, nervousness
          chest pain, irregular heartbeat
          difficulty breathing, wheezing
          dizziness, drowsiness
          headache
          nausea vomitting
          seizures
          trembling shaking
          unusual weakness or tiredness

Freirue would you like to give me one good reason why Wlad would be the first one in history to be able to knock Golota out cold legitimately. Freurui Golota has never legitimately been knocked out in over 40 fights. I see no reason why Wlad would be the first one to do it.

Golota was knocked down once by Bowe
Golota wa knocked down once by Pouha (I think)
Golota was knocked down by Mike Tyson
Golota was knocked down by Michael Grant

pretty short list of times being knocked down.......4 times

I admit Golota has a self defeating personality disorder and Wlad's only chance in beating Golota is that flaw prevails yet again.

Golota vs Vitali Klistchko would be a very cool fight though. Golota might get very psyched up and hit the juice and bring the fight to V Klistchko you never know.

It would be very entertaining to Watch Golota and V Klistchko stand in there just trade shots in an electric atmosphere, you would have to buy a ticket for that one.
Golota would get his ass beat by either Klitschko. For crying out loud he scored a draw with Byrd and lost to Ruiz!!!

And Vitali Klistchko Lost to Chris Byrd
And Wlad Klistchko lost to Lamon Brewster and Corrie Sanders

              the Point therefore is........? ?

The point is Vitali was boxing Byrd with one arm and clearly man handling him. WHile GOlota had the pleasure of both his arms he still couldn't win.

DOnt make me bring up the extensive and pathetic record of Golota's. Atleast Wlad and Vitali have some big wins on there records, and achieved far more than Golota could ever dream.

                  Who said anything about Vitali?

I thought you were trying to prove a point about Wlad.

And lets count how many fights Wlad was knocked down in?

Sanders. And you can argue the Brewster fight.

                  That makes 2. Shorter list.

Don't get me wrong though I think it would be a great fight, but Wlad would keep him on the outside with his jab a night long. Till the "foul pole" get frustrated and A)quits (ie Tyson) B)gets DQ'ed (Ruiz).

The guy just isn't right in the head. (then again look at Tyson)

Golota has never beat anyone of any repute and loses every major fight he is in. Then he cries about it like a baby. That guy has serious emotional problems and needs to go hang out with Tyson.

You notice vs John Ruiz and Chris Byrd Golota throws a total of about 10 straight left hands his former trade mark punch. Golotas shoulder is shot. His dexterity with his left arm is very limited.

However I contend that this version of Golota with no left arm is still good enough to beat Wlad Klistchko. Golota fights on and continues his boxing career even after dehabiliting injury.
