My first fight in the NY Daily Golden Gloves

This was also my first fight as an amateur. I feel I did good up to the 3rd round before I started getting careless and dropping my hands. I was also a little tired and I didn't see some of the shots coming and as a result I got 2 8-****s and almost lost the fight.

Take a look at the video and let me know what you guys think (I'm the one in the Gold). Thanks

Yea I know. The reason why I got caught in the 3rd matter fact was because I went in with my left down.

The thing is that during the fight I didn't know that my hands were so low(I guess that's because I keeping an eye on my defense and was only worrying about the offense). I was surprised when I watched the video how low my hands were when I would go in and exchange.

From now on Im going to practice more on my defense at the gym so the same thing doesnt happen in the next fight.

Yea that too. I wasn't showing much upper body movement. I have problems with that in sparring too. I don't move my hips well and thats somehtign im going to work on

Yeah you look good though. But defense is the key to everyting man. A guy with a great Defense is damn near immposible to beat.

But yeah just head movement and picking your spots better would be smart. Becaus eyou had the hand sped to hit this dude whenever you felt like it. No need to get inot a trading match. Just tag him and get out of harms way. You looked to be the taller man with the onger arms too. Just stay outside pick his ass apart.

                  You look good though.

                  Good luck to you.

Your chin is super high in the air when u exchange. Please work on that. Also why do you keep switching stances? I like your style though but you need more defensive moves.
