Pacquiao-Clottey announced officially less than a week..

and noone saw this coming.. how hard is it to officially announce Mosley-Mayweather when boxing fans have been craving this for a while? this shoulda happened before Pac-Floyd negotiations..We all know Mosley will agree on every demand floyd has to say. Whats the hold up there, floyd?

is floyd tryin to cherrypick options out there that doesnt exist?

Dont be silly, Mosley brings much more to the table than Clottey. Clottey would any deal Pac would give him.

Arum controls both Pacquiao and Clottey, so it was easier to put together.

Mayweather is more or less a Golden Boy fighter, but he doesn't officially belong to their roster, so there are more kinks to work out.

Arum was negotiating with several boxers at the same time he was in negotiations with Floyd. Why do you think the deal was done in one week? He already had an offer on the table and he knew Clottey would agree to anything to have a fight with Manny. Manny and Clottey work for Arum. Mosley works for GBP and Mayweather works for Mayweather Promotion.

Clottey agreed to a horrible money split for the fight - something like 90-10 for Manny.

The hold up has to be the money split for the fight. Manny got something like 90-10 for his fight -- you know Mayweather is going to ask for something similar, if Manny got that for his fight.

TS, Clottey basically took a 90/10 deal. Im sick of hearing all these people saying crazy things like Shane will accept anything. Sure it may end up that way but he's not going to volunteer that from the jump. He's going to try to get as much as he can and thats the hold up. He's not getting 40 with Floyd no way, no how and he probably will only get 25-30

Floyd IS a GBP fighter. Floyd CANT get a fight on HBO PPV under Mayweather promotions, regardless of how he says hes his own boss. BS.

that shows you that Arum was ALREADY working on that fight.

Not to mention, they had to get it done and announced with about 8 weeks until the actual fight date.

May-Mosley is not happening UNTIL MAY, which means that they have at LEAST until the 3rd or 4th week of Feb to announce it. Calm down, Mayweather-Mosley is a fight that boxingheads have been wanting for about 10 years now, whats a little more time??

I don't even know why I responded in this thread.
