He was so bad when he retired.... I hope the time away recharged his batteries, but I'm guessing this will be roughly as sucessful and Vargas' proposed comeback, haha.

If he comes back *loooooooool* I hope he has worked on his boxing fundamentals... doesn't look like he still has the agility of a cat... and at 160 I don't know if he can take those shots *loooooooooooooooooool*

What made Erik great was his punch, his combinations, and his chin. His punch won't be anywhere near as effective fighting at 140/147, it might get him through against a lower tier guy but no way will it trouble a decent calibre guy at those weights, his chin has been worn down by two knockout losses as well as plenty of accumulative punishment, plus it won't carry up to 140/147, and he doesn't have the split second instinct to get off and land combinations anymore. Plus his legs will have nothing beneath them, they were gone a long time ago.

This comeback will end in a humiliating knockout loss, I can almost guarantee that. It will be better for him if he loses to this guy in March, because if he can get by him and a few others he will undoubtedly step the level of comp up, get put in with a serious LWW/WW with some good ability, and get thrown around and bashed.
