Morales beat Pacquiao though. Marquez beat Pacquiao (he did, face it). Just because Pacquiao has fought better fighters, does not make him a greater fighter. Floyd has never been beat and he fought PRIME Hatton PRIME Gatti PRIME Corrales PRIME Castillo. These guys are not bums

He fought Prime Hatton but so as Pac the only difference though is that Pac fought Hatton at the division where Hatton's the lineal champ. The fight look really bad for Hatton that he decides to semi retire.

you can argue that a win over mosley is better than any fighters pacquiao has beaten but overall i think its still safe to say that pacquiao has the better resume

Actually lad, i'm not a noob. I am also aware that Pacquiao defeated both Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya in much more brutal fashion than did Floyd. Furthermore, I am aware that Floyd made Juan Manuel Marquez ****e up in weight in order to dominate the proud Mexican. Additionally, I am also aware that had the Haiti tragedy not happened Floyd would have fought either Paulie, Matthew Hatton, or Saul Alvarez. . .if Floyd beats Mosley he deserves props, but clearly Pacquiao has shown time and time again that he is WILLING to fight the best. Meanwhile Floyd is what he is, a wasted talent who has yet to be tested by a guy his size at Welterweight.

that's funny, because I have always said floyd is wasted talent. This guy has the skill to fight anyone. He could easily go up 1 weight class and still do good. I always said if Floyd got 1 loss early in his career, He probably wouldn't of cared who he fought as much, and probably would of dominated Cotto, Mosley, and Marg already.

But in all honesty bar Cotto who would lose to shane in a rematch who on Pac mans resume beats Shane? no one.

For manny pacquiao, you need an entirely different topic to debate that. especially his run at the higher weights, and also considering where morales was when pac got to him.

If shane wanted to fight mayweather 5 to 10 years ago, he should have said yes when mayweather was on his hands and knees begging. also, this fight is bigger now than it was during that time, mayweather is one of the biggest stars in the sport now, and mosley is the number 1 welter with the 3rd rank in the p4p standings.

I dont care to argue if its a better win on pacs resume because personally i dont care that much, but dont sit here and pretend that all of the sudden, pac fought all of those greats, in their primes, there are a couple of exceptions to those names. and i wouldnt even mention david diaz if i were you.

Good post, I still dont get why ppl think that Manny took the guys out in their prime...but now u will hear how SSM is not in his prime....but he is ranked 3 on the p4p list, he is ranked #1 at welter and he is the ring champ at welter...

It doesn't really matter to me how fans will percieve it if floyd wins on mosley.
What matters most to me is that floyd should fight mosley now and don't tell me about thise "it's a done deal!" as it is not a done deal yet!

The Pac-floyd i had great doubts it will happen eversince before the pac-cotto despite what most floydettes here says and now this mosly-floyd again i'm sure WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

Fighting this version of Mosley is not on par with fighting the versions of Marquez, Morales, and Barrera that Pacquiao fought. FACT.
