You don't think that the other names were thrown around to try and gain leverage?

C'mon bruh. With this much money on the table, please tell me why anyone from either side wouldn't want this fight.

this **** will flop, BIG TIME.....

        bet that.
Fight won't do more than 300k. Maybe 200k. When has Pacquiao fought a non-mexican or cultural icon on PPV? He's not proven. If this fight duds...Mayweather has BIG leverage in purse split. But like before he wants 50/50 and to get the fight done. Pacquia on the other hand has commited the biggest duck in the history of the sport.

Even if Pac wins (which I easily favor) he will come out looking bad. Yes, he would win but interest wise the numbers will speak for themselves. I doubt it will do very well. Leverage for Mayweather to talk more shyt.

If May and Pac don't fight, Who ever Mayweather fights will generate more hype than Pac vs Clottey which will be nothing more than a sparring session for Pac. Clotteys good and has a great chin but thats about it. Plus there is no meaning or drama behind the fight. No story what so ever. No interest.

IMO Clottey wont catch Pac, he's too slow. UD victory for Pac. In all reality this is a ploy for Mayweather to back his recent statements of wanting the fight. Team Pac as a last result is hoping Mayweather will give in even though the whole 14 day scenario is out.

I'm hoping Mayweather just accepts and then like always talks mad trash about Pac, his country and his ******ed ass anti boxing fans.

But, coach Roach knows whats up. He's not talking about fighting other fighters for no reason...... Manny will get a serious boxing lesson from Mayweather...

Clottey lost a controversial decision to cotto in new york

            Clottey also beat diego corrales

Who has paulie malignaggi or mathew hatton beat???

I only see Pacquiao winning by possible decision. If Clottey gets KO'd, Pacquiao is on the roids 100%.

But I see Clottey whoopin Pacquiao's ass. African Bambaata's head to big, chin to hard, and body to beasty to lose by anything but decision.
That's hilarious. If he wins by decision, he's clean. If he KO's him (which I think is highly unlikely) he's on roids 100%.

If anything I would envision Manny getting a stoppage like in the Cotto fight, but if I had to guess, I would say that this one is going to the scorecards. Clottey has a granite chin.

Clottey will replace Floyd Mayweather Jr. if a deal is finalized. Pacquiao has accepted Clottey as an opponent. The fight will likely head to a Las Vegas venue and land on HBO pay-per-view. [Click Here To Read More]
Good fight! Personally, I don't even understand why anyone cares about the Mayweather fight falling through. I think it's great, but then again I have no interest in seeing Floyd do anything. Except maybe retire again.

Pacquiao outworks Clottey to a decision, btw.

I'd be inclined to agree with you except...they were serious.
