HBO's expert analyst Larry Merchant has once again discussed the ongoing saga to make a March super-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. This time Merchant spoke with AOL's Fan House. Merchant has been around a long time and he's seen a lot of tough negotiations for fights. He never saw anything like the Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations. Lol... Has anyone noticed that Larry Merchant probably has never picked Floyd to win in a fight?... Why does he hate Floyd so much? I remember he picked Oscar, Hatton, Baldomir... Yes Baldomir, he picked Carlos Baldomir to beat Floyd... Lmao... I love Larry Merchant though HBO boxing telecast arent even the same without his long drawn on metaphors about match-ups

What the fuck? I mean, I don't care for Floyd either but it's obvious that Merchant has an agenda. He says that Mayweather avoided the top Welterweights to look for smaller guys but what the hell is Pacquaio? If you want a guy to present a threat to Mayweather, then look in Shane Mosley's direction for Christ sakes. He's got a reach advantage and not a reach disadvantage.
