3. his power is the same. you don't lose power moving up. the guys in the heavier divisions just take a punch better. also see #2. that also lessens your ko rates. less punches you throw , less chance you'll hurt or ko someone.
4. pacquiao's power did somewhat improved. that's what happens you don't cut weight for a fight as much and when you get slightly heavier. only improvement in pacquiao is that his technique got better and his opponents can't handle his speed as well as his opponents in the lighter divisions who were faster and fought faster opponents.
just like mayweather's opponents at 140-154 was less able to cope with mayweather's speed compared to the guys he fought in the lower divisions who were more use to seeing faster guys. only difference is mayweather was less offensive as you say.
