If he decides not to face Floyd, he'll have to live with the issue being raised every time he's interviewed or his name is brought up. Not that it'll make much of a difference anyway if he's content with his decision.

It's the biggest and most meaningful fight that everyone wants to see.
He's challenging the #1 P4P welter weight champion in the world, and who possesses a title belt.
He stands to make millions in another record breaking event since DLH-May.
Everyone agrees it's the biggest fight out there right now.
Besides, Pacquiao's fans want it, and made their desire clear on live TV for all to hear.
Again, why not?Last edited by MindBat; 12-25-2009, 03:51 PM.

Both fighters can fight their own fights, but it's been proven that a larger crowd is following Manny. If he were the caliber of Roy Jones or Lennox Lewis, for example, this would not happen. Why, because at that stature, you can dictate any term you like.
Why settle for 50/50 split? Because he wants to get the fight made to earn multi-millions more than his previous fights.
Because it's guaranteed money against "a guy who is not as impressive".
So, it's pretty much in line with my previous post.

Look at what's happening. If the fight is off, Arum is now negotiating a Pac vs Malignaggi duel in March! Like I mentioned in my other post, the guy (Pac) has a simple mind. He doesn't know how to say no. He can retire a wealthy man without another fight. There is nothing more to prove.
Who else after Malignaggi? Pacquiao should retire from boxing after the Mayweather fight, if it ever happens. But the way I look at it, people like Arum won't let him.Last edited by jqSide; 12-25-2009, 04:43 PM.

Funny how people just assume Pacquiao is this perfect role-model the media likes to portray him as; and to be su****ious of anything regarding him is deemed '******ed'. Nobody is perfect out there, not even your god like creature they call Pacman.
Just imagine if this were Mayweather Jr. refusing to take a random drug test...it would be chaos. You would never hear the end of it and this site would crash from all the drama.Last edited by p4p-champ; 12-25-2009, 04:55 PM.
