Floyd didn't want to fight at 147.

Arum mentioned several issues that arose during the negotiations day after day. He pointed out that Mayweather “had no intention of coming in at 147” which is the welterweight limit and then said he didn’t want to fight for the WBO title and we said okay, if you come an ounce over 147 you are going to pay us $10 million. Then this all started.”

NO , its very clear Manny is refusing a drug test thats the issue , Floyd must have the same test so whats the big deal ,,,,, its clear as crystal that Manny is in the wrong here , if he pulls out of this fight on this point they are running from Floyd , Mannys next opponents will want him tested also do you people realize that , Manny cant just walk away from this the sport of boxing will judge him guilty if he does .

What other boxers have done this test before?

Did the greats like Hagler, Leonard, Heards, Duran ever get blood tested before their fights?

edit: My point being, who else will want him to be tested?

Floyd has always be extravagant and arrogant, but this has gone too far for this bout it seems. Shame really, if he had treated manny like he treated the rest, the other 40 opponents, then it wouldn't have to fall apart. I'm not blaming it all on floyd, but he did say he could beat manny with roids because manny is 1 dimensional and small.

Who cares , its a combat sport with 2 opponents , if one opponent wants to test the other for cheating that may even kill him its a fair call , Olympic testing is the most accurate thats why they have asked for that I suppose , but thats not the point as Floyd is not asking anything that wont happen to him also , Floyd is making sure its a fair fight , its piss poor and highly su****ious for Manny to say no , this is not a big deal 1000s of athletes are tested regularly , the boxing control boards methods of a piss test is not very accurate .

Manny didn't say no either though. He put out the date or time when he wnats to be tested. He said he will do it after the fight, which seems reasonable to me. I doubt any drug can get out of the system 5 mins after the fight.

I just believe that Floyd should fight Manny, and Manny should fight Floyd. I don't understand the demands right now, when 40 of Floy's other opponents havent done it.

2 months ago Roach said Floyd wants the fight at 154.
