which is why they will test maybe 5 days before the fight,,,they can get blood work back in a couple days....easy

what? I post on every boxing match, even the unpopular ones. you're they guy that only posts in pbf, pwill, berto nuthugger threads and mosley and pac hater threads.

I guess they should check the fighters hand wraps after the fight as well?
wow... who said that? not me. don't put words in my mouth.

Why are you sounding like an advocate to NOT test fighters before the fight?
I'm just asking, what's the difference between 5 mins after the fight and 24 hours before the fight? please enlighten me.

If there is NO REAL difference...why not have a test 24 hours before and then 1 right after the fight? ....in which case would cancel each other out...which in turn would make this thread utterly pointless!

on the flip side, if there is no real difference then why isn't 5 mins after the fight not good enouogh?

I'm asking you to justify why 24 hours before the fight is better than 5 mins after the fight!

Let's just say Manny Whoops Mayweather's Ass Very Bad, as in Career Ending bad.

Then he tests Positive for Performance Enhancing Drugs

That unfair beating could have been avoided

Plus theres no telling if the drugs could leave the system prior to the after fight testing. HGH can exit within 72 hours and Doping evidence can exit with 24-48 hours.

Just a few reasons why its better to test before and close to the fight.

People who enter body building competetions don't do their roids right before a competetion, they do it a few weeks before on a cycle. If they are tested afterwards, so what, its out of their system at that point. We aren't talking THC which stays in your fatty cells, we are talking others.

They shouldn't take a blood test right before the fight. A fighter is going to get reap the benefits of the PEDs during training. If it's a drug that leaves your system really fast, why take it right before the fight (in addition to the fact that you're taking blood from someone whose body is about go through something as rough as a prize fight)?? It'll be gone by then anyway.

Do the blood test during training and then after the fight.

                please let me know.
Olympic athletes are tested often and without notice. He said less than a teaspoon of blood is removed out of an average of 380 teaspoons in the normal human and that it regenerates within an hour of being withdrawn.

If it's good enough for LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Michael Phelps and Lance Armstrong why isn't it good enough for Manny Pacquiao? The fans and sports deserve a level playing field.

1 question: how long does it take to test blood for steroids? days? weeks? months?

right, but as we both are not medical professionals and steroid experts this is meaningless.

but how long would it take to test for 'roids? if it takes weeks or months, floyd will still get his ass whooped and we won't know the results until weeks or months later.

how long does it take to test the blood? if its months and 3+ weeks, then there's no benefit for floyd to test the blood 30 days before the fight.

Generally routine blood tests are reported on the same day. Some hormone analysis and cultures may take 3 days reporting time. Also some very sensitive and less routine tests may need a week’s reporting time. Blood test result times depend on the type of blood test that you are having conducted. The blood results could come back immediately to half an hour in an emergency situation to as long as two weeks with speciality tests.f.

The difference Floyd wont get KTFO by PACMAN because drawing blood 5 mins before the fight will weaken him.
