LOL,,, evidently the Mayweathers are nervous !!! You must be talking to them ,,, they are the only guilty party that dealt with drugs that I have ever heard about..

But you are blind ??? yes ?? NO?? you can't see pbf wanting out of the fight ??

I read "Game of Shadows" ... it's great at describing how athletes cheat tests. I'm not accusing, I just think there is nothing wrong with drug tests and anyone that's wary of them seems guilty to me. I'll take a drug test tomorrow for a job if I want it. I'm not worried about anything at all nor do I have reason to be. Again... I'm a HUGE Manny fan. I'm disappointed that he's refusing this and hoping it's just a promotional ploy.

Plenty of things show up in blood tests that are false positives, years ago a downhill skier tested positive for steroids, all he was taking was a protein based powder called Nitro-Tech. Roy tested positive because he was taking a fat-burner from Twinlabs. It's possible that Pac could be taking T enhancers that act as precursor hormones, those aren't illegal but you will test positive. Ever heard of PEA? It's an extract from a plant and it's in a lot of fatburners, if you're on it and take a drug test....you'll test positive for Meth, as the chemical composition of PEA mirrors that of methylamines. The point is Pac can take the test after and focus on training for the fight of his life, without any of these side-show distractions.
The anti doping people have a system to check for for false positives. There is a clear list of banned substances. Something like Diuretics which Chavez Jr tested positive for is banned because it flushes out steriods out of the system. Chavez Jr can make an excuse but he knows that it is banned.

If he is taking T enhancers that he is kind of skirting the system. Once again, PBF will have the same testing done, so he can also get false positives, but he is not concerned about that.

The state of California has implemented the policy and it has been a success, many fighters who are clean are willing to take it and the 65 that were caught now have egg in their face. If there was a major issue of false positives there would be litigation filing up the california appellate courts.

Most importantly, your argument is trivial, because Roach never said anything about their worry about false positives- his concern was the MENTAL aspect of having blood drawn a few weeks before the fight

he should just take the test. a fight of this magnitude is worth it. look how much money is on the line. i wonder what those supplements are that arizia gives manny. a blood test is nothing people at medical companies donate blood all the time for free its no big deal. one shot the pain is over in 2 mins tops u barely feel it. it wont hurt him at all.

Why does Floyd have to agree to 10 million over the weight limit?

No disrespect to you man but that's a load of horse ****. Nobody's rehydration weight was capped and nobody was forced to drain themselves. Cotto agreed to 145, in fact he suggested it and was happy to do it.

Stop spreading ****** rumors and BS.
it's a fact, that for the dlh fight at least, there was a rehydration cap at 147....sorry.

maybe they could, in 6 WEEKS!!!

You cannot flush out any kind of drugs with 100% certainty out of your system even weeks before testing.

From Roach: "I have no problem with the testing whatsoever," Roach said then. "They can do whatever kind of drug testing they want. They're scared of Manny and scared of his power. He'll pass any test in the world."

So if it is true Manny refused, it is not being guilty of anything. It is more on superstition and principle.

I hope Manny's camp come up with a stipulation to fine Floyd $1 million dollars if he cries after the fight.

Besides, stans start bashing Pacquiao even before his camp has issued any official statement. I wouldn't trust everything Schaeffer says, just like Arum. Remember Schaeffer has badmouthed Manny many times before.

The mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is now in jeopardy after Golden Boy Promotions, on behalf of Mayweather Promotions, learned today that Manny Pacquiao is refusing to comply with Olympic style drug testing as outlined and mandated by the United States Anti Doping Agency (USADA) and as requested by Mayweather's management to ensure fair play and sportsmanship by both fighters.

Early today Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, was contacted by Top Rank President Todd duBoef, who informed Schaefer that Pacquiao would not agree to have his blood taken within 30-days of the bout based on the fighter's superstition of testing so close to a fight.

Schaefer commented, "Todd told me that Pacquiao has difficulty with taking blood and doesn't want to do it so close to the fight. He, Pacquiao, would only agree to have blood drawn before the kick-off press conference and after the fight."

Olympic style drug testing involves random sampling of the athlete's blood and urine prior to and after the fight. The USADA procedure includes both blood and urine sampling so that all banned substances, some of which do not show up in urine alone, are tested for thoroughly.

"It is unfortunate to hear this from Manny Pacquiao's representatives, particularly since, as of today, both parties had worked out all other issues related to this fight," said Schaefer. "Team Mayweather is certainly surprised that an elite athlete like Manny Pacquiao would refuse drug testing procedures which Floyd has already agreed to and have been agreed to by many other top athletes such as Lance Armstrong, and Olympians Michael Phelps, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant."

Mayweather, who was informed of Pacquiao's reluctance shortly after Schaefer received word of the impasse, feels Pacquiao has to explain himself immediately or be faced with accusations from the media and the public regarding his own status as a clean and drug free athlete.

"I understand Pacquiao not liking having his blood taken, because frankly I don't know anyone who really does," said Mayweather. "But in a fight of this magnitude, I think it is our responsibility to subject ourselves to sportsmanship at the highest level. I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same. It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night. I hope that this is either some miscommunication or that Manny will change his mind and step up and allow these tests, which were good enough for all these other great athletes, to be performed by USADA."

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions said, "We hope that Manny will do the right thing and agree to the testing as it is an egregious act to deny the testing and hence, deny the millions of fans the right to see this amazing fight. We just want to make sure there is a level playing field in a sport that is a man-to-man contest that relies on strength and ability. I still hope this decision is coming from someone in Pacquiao's camp and not Manny himself as it would be a shame that an athlete of his stature and who represents his whole country would not be able to show the public or his fellow athletes that he agrees to the highest standards in sports competition."
I feel sorry for manny for being used like this by the mayweather camp.
we all know that mayweather is scared to fight anyone who has a great chance to beat him.they will try anything to put the blame on the pacman
for this fight not to happen so people can still support floyd to fight lesser
                      opponents. do'nt be fooled people....
