Tim Bradley is NOT and WON'T be a Manny Pacquiao sparring partner

December 21, 1:16 PMDallas Boxing ExaminerMatt Stolow

Ever since World Boxing Organization 140 champion Timothy Bradley beat up Lamont Peterson recently, he has been thought of as a sparring partner for Manny Pacquiao by some in the media.

Well I consider these people mental midgets when it comes to understanding boxing.

It's an insult to Bradley, who I wrote and consider a prospective future opponent for Manny Pacquiao.

If the News article was smart enough, he would of known Pacquiao might retire this year or the next. There wont be a Bradley fight at all.

This makes King Burner look like an expert compared to this guy.

i don't believe manny will retire after the mayweather fight.... or if he ever does, i think he will make a comeback.....

''manny's mountain'' it seem is the highest point in a boxer's career, if you are a boxer of that stature, you wouldn't want to let go of the glamour and glitz that goes with it that quick...... it is addicting, sadly.

bradley would have been a bad selection for a sparring partner anyway...only thing he would have given pacquiao is more conditioning...something he doesn't need

Conditioning? What about speed and movement since Bradley's defense and head movement is also topnotch.

Doesn't matter if they are future opponents or not, they need each other to get better. They may or may not fight each other down the road, but this is an opportunity for both of them to train with the best. They are both currently the best two smaller fighters.

So was the article an opinion from a fan; or who wrote it? is it someone who represents Bradley?

bradley does not have much technical skill...he relies on outworking his opponent...this is the reason many felt lamont peterson had a good chance of outboxing him....floyd and his style are completely different...
