    Judah vs. Tsyzu Questions

I just saw the full version of Judah vs. Tsyzu for the first time and it left me with this question. Is it a rule in boxing that if you get knocked down and get up, then fall again and get back up the fight is over without a count? If not then Judah has a legitmate beef because he did fall twice however he was up and did look to be able to continue. I think Jay Nady should have waited and asked him if he was good to contiue or gave him a standing eight count. One thing I want to point out is alot of people talk about this fight like Judah got completley destoryed which is not the case he just got hit with a big shot and paniced. I think if Judah fought Tsyzu again Zab would stop him in eight rounds, thats boxing one punch can change everything. Judah was way out of line after the fight when he put his fist on Jay Nady but he was 24 at the time and obviously imature, I don't think he would do that now.

Note: Zab said he would fight Tsyzu again but only at 147

Yeah, I think Nady should have gave him the standing eight count as well. He did fall pretty bad, though. Judah ruined things for himself by trying to get up so quick. He should have gathered himself while on the ground, so he can get back up and fight back strong, because everyone knows that was no flash-knockdown.

Hey thats a good point, I never thought of that he should regrouped while the ground. He got up way to fast and then he paniced. I think in the heat of the moment(especially when you young and have never been down)your body tells you to get up right away.

Hey Jack you are right, but they fought under unified rules and standing 8 count was not permitted. Also there is no rule that state that if fighter goes down twice from the same punch than the fight should be stopped but there is a rule that referee can stop a fight at any time. Nady was right, Zabdiel, when danced, shown that he had concussion and right after he jumped up and Nady asked him something(you can see it on a tape) he responded with bull**** and Nady just had to stop the fight over the concern of Zab's health.

Yeah but you also should remember that it was at the end of the round so he could have had time to regroup. Was it confirmed that had a concussion? I thought he probably was so stunned that he lost his legs momentarily.

There is always a concussion when fighter looses his conciousness
and goes down. Wobbly legs is one of the signs. Also when fighter is stunned it is a mild concussion. Thats why there is a 90 day license revoke if a fighter gets ko'ed.

No problem, man. You cool. Nady did a right thing when he stopped that fight. He saved Zab from career threatening beating.(he might have been revitalised and go on in a next round, but if I was a ref i would not take my chances and stop the fight)
But I believe Zab got smarter after this fight and this is one of the reasons he is where he is.

Hell yeah, and I think Zab would fight differently and maybe knock Tyszu out.
