      here's my oops:

The Judge’s scores read as follows:

John Keane of England ?115-111 for Mayweather
Jerry Roth of Nevada- 115-111 for Mayweather
Anek Hongtongkam of Thailand-116-111 for Mayweather

Harold Lederman of HBO had it-115-111 for Castillo.

All the announcers, including Foreman had Castillo ahead.

My score was 116-111 for Castillo.

      The Punch Stats:

      Castillo Mayweather

      203 Thrown 157

no, because a 107 power punch difference (with a better connect % too) doesn't mean anything!

lol, floyd connected literally 5.5 power punches per round in that fight, yet some people are convinced that he clearly won

Props to the Thread starter. PBF win by UD, though.

That poster conveniently left out the jab category stats, in which Floyd had the clear edge in. Floyd also landed the cleaner punches in that fight.

Dude, Castillo got outboxed. The reason why people might think Castillo was robbed is only because he did better than what was expected of him.

castillo landed 30 jabs. floyd landed 91

normally, jabs are much, much less impressive punches in everyone's eyes, including the judges. lets suppose they look equally good in everybody's eyes:

floyd outlanded castillo by 61 jabs (91-30), while castillo outlanded floyd by 107 power punches (173-66). in total punches, castillo outlanded floyd by 47 punches

tell me how landing 47 less punches (13% less) and 107 less power punches (45% less) is called outboxing someone

Low blows, punches on the break, and hitting the other fighter in the hips while the ref isn't looking isn't clean punching.

Not knocking on Castillo, but that was the style he felt would give him the win, and that is where the majority of his "power punch" stats came from.

oh, so he fights as dirty as floyd did in that fight? that's acceptable, unless you want to tell me that floyd's dirty blows weren't counted by compubox (they did on the hatton fight at least)

a lol @ you saying that the majority of castillos 173 power punch connects were low blows and rabbit punches

only ****** *****s would think pac would fight floyd the way he fought cotto. pac has to use tight defence lots of movement cut of the ring and quick flurries, floyd will be flapping trying to defend each punch becaue he is a defence first type fighter and will lose by ud, or late ko when he realises he is down and has to exchange.

i can look at how they train and figure this out---for one--the way floyd hits the pads with roger already shows me that he's a much sharper puncher than manny--so manny's power punches won't matter---people like to say roger does all of the work on the mitts and floyd just taps them--and those people only prove how dumb they are whenit comes to this sport---manny hits hard right? but his punch placement only recently has improved--of course against fighters who stand straight up and are flatfooted---ala cotto and hatton and oscar---floyd's timing, accuracy, and punch placement is so much better than manny's--it's not even funny---the way floyd positions himself in his stance and even how he holds up his hands right before he avoids a punch and counters or throws a punch is a thing of beauty---he is too slck for manny---

don't get me wrong--manny is great at what he does in the ring--but floyd is too complex for this guy---floyd throws sharp punches when he feints, fights off the ropes, moves backwards, dips and counters, and etc--meaning he doesn't look sloppy and off balance--great leverage--movement, upperbody positioning--manny is good off the front foot when he bounces and moves around after he hits you---but only against fighters who don't move---watch how manny changes his style and throws less punches against floyd who will dictate manny's tempo--thus dictating the whole fight en route to a 8th round stoppage or earlier stoppage---

floyd controls his punches better than manny does--which is why he can potshot and still dominate you--while you tire yourself out throwing so many punches and missing and overwhelming yourself---manny will limit his punch output--not tothrow floyd off---but because floyd will make manny lose confidence in himself once he realizes he isn't landing effectively against floyd---he's looking sloppy---balance is off--he getting countered from every angle--he's cut up and bruised---i mean this is only a few things that floyd will do to manny--

manny can get floyd on the ropes--and it still won't help him--because flod knows how to land punches in between his opponent's combos and manny isn't that good against counterpunchers--and floyd will not only block most of manny's punches but land on him in the process---its so obvious--this fight is predetermined---it's floyd's fight to lose, not manny's---it's funny--manny is the champion--yet floyd is the betting favorite---like he was against all of the other champions he's ever fought--that's how good he is---floyd will blow manny's high when they fight---he will snap manny back to reality and then bring on shane or berto---i can't wait...
Pretty Boy is taking the Pacman way too lightly for this fight and will pay the consequences dearly by receiving the "Fistic-Bombardment" of his life. Little does he know, Team Pacquiao will prepare a "War Plan" that will devastate his highly touted "Shoulder-Roll" defense. Master Trainer Roach's plan to destroy Floyd's body will come to fruition as the Pacman will unleash his greatest barrage of punches the likes of which Pretty Boy has never seen. Poor Floyd is gonna be reminded of his arrogance in dissing the Pacman as he reels from the solid body and head blows that will be inflicted upon him by the Pacman. JAT
