this is because face first Hatton wasn't trying to get his Muhammed Ali on all of a sudden, he was actually still an undefeated threat with HIS OWN style rather than some re-invented fighter who was supposed to compete on a skill level, Ricky is a brute fighter, he's been bloodied against bums and he's left out clean against top names he's just a whatever goes kind of guy and he's sloppy, that's what he is good at, not punching on the inside but CLINCHING first and THEN punching you. Floyd Sr made him a lesser fighter IMO, with Graham in his corner he would have made it a little further into the fight..

Graham took what he had and worked on it, he didn't try to change a vet he worked with the vet, Floyd tried to change the vet into a different fighter and you can't do that with a guy like Ricky Hatton, you need to take that bomb and make a bigger one with a huge **** you don't deactivate the bomb, re-wire it to become a smaller explosion, by Ricky trying to do all that **** Floyd put in his ear he fought Floyd's fight and not his own because that's not what Ricky does..

Ultimately he lost because Pacquiao was the better man, plain and simple but don't sit here and act like the Ricky that fought Floyd wasn't a better fighter than the one who fought Pacquiao, show Ricky Hatton a bit more respect than that yo he deserves it

This boxing. When is it wise to hit your opponents fists with your face, like Pac does? That just poor ring smart. Pacs style of fighting is entertaining but his boxing game has so many holes in it that it isnt funny. Floyd finishes his opponents when the opportunity presents its self. Trying to ko every oppentent is just ******. Floyd repects all of his opponents but their fight game is what he doesnt respect and i dont blame him. If you know anything about boxing you must know Floyd is a student of the sport. Floyd is a smart boxer who stays relaxed in the ring and figures his opponents out while he fights them. You can study a fighter for years but the one that comes into the ring that night might be a totally different person. Roach cant figure Floyd out because Floyd will fight a fight tailored for what ever Pac brings. Pac skills are inferior but he agression is superior. Unfortunately agression and a high workrate will not win against Floyd. Floyd is too acurate too fast, has excellent footwork and the greatest reflexes of any fighter alive. Nevetheless good luck to Pac. Sadly the Pac hype will end when he fights Floyd "The Prodigy" Mayweather.

Garbage. He was on a downward slope. Watch the Collazo fight.

In that case, Floyd will be fighting Singsurat, Morales and Torrecampo's leftovers.

Yep, and the Cotto, Hatton, De La Hoya that Pacquiao fought were not exactly on a upward slope now were they Mister samurai?

i think that hatton that was pressuring floyd wouldve probably done better than 2rounds against pac...its just that Sr. looked like he was trying to make hatton box and switch his whole style up...and you just cant do that...its really hard for some people to do that if you got to the top using YOUR style.. so when hatton was out there against pac he just looked confused and weird..he was like hesitating to pressure but then hesitating to box all at the same time.....but hey just my two cents..
