Hopkins is a name, not a draw.

Dude could barely draw 2,000 people in his own town.

He's like Winky Wright and Shane Mosley.

Only reason I bring it up is cause it annoys me when he acts like he brings so much money to the table.

Pretty crazy but i think it has to do more with his style.

Juan Diaz isnt very known in the mainstream boxing scene but in his hometown he can pull 10k fans. Hopkins may not do the same but hes recognizable in public.

It's a wednesday night. I rather stay home than spend good money to watch a tune up and stay out late when I have work in the morning.

place looked fairly packed to me.

                plus it's a wed night.

plus it was a tune up fight.

I guarantee if Hopkins fought Adamek or Roy Jones (if jones didn't get KO'd) on a saturday night it'd sell out in Philly easy.

Margarito sold out Staples Center. Ask anyone who was there, the place was 80% Mexican.

if the fight was on a friday or saturday I'm sure it would have been a sellout
