I really don't know why he is running for office now. Like another commenter said, why not wait until you retire? You can do politics in a wheelchair, so why rush it?

Hopefully it doesn't distract from any upcoming fights. Though he has run before and still manages to get his head together for fight time (Marquez was a bit of an exception).

I'm a huge Pac fan and really want to see the Mayweather fight go down, if for no other reason than they are the two best guys in boxing today, at the same weight class, and they are the two "invincible" boxers who have the best tools for beating the other unbeatable guy.

LMAO!!! I don't think this fight happens in March but you are correct. It will be funny as hell to see the PacMan's camp reaction if Floyd says "OK, March is cool". IMO if Pac fights Floyd in March I would have to give him some kudos because that would be too soon IMO. But **** it...LET'S GET IT ON.

na i dont believe that rumor but its quite simple now, floyd fight pac in march or duck pac and continue being a fraud.

If Floyd fights Shane, could you really say that he is ducking Pac? I think Shane will clean up the division if he gets a chance.

There was a time when they fought 3X a month! I think 4 months is more than enough time considering Floy had a walk in the park his last time out and Paquiao actually got hit and bruised up.

In his post fight interview against Marquez when asked about his performance, Mayweather said he could get better, and that was after shutting out Marquez. Maybe Mayweather doesn't feel he's ready for a Pac fight yet. Perhaps Mayweather is still feeling a little ring rust.

I'm over it already. If they fight, great! If not, whatever. I'll tell you one thing though, I sure as hell am not going to pay for Mayweather/Hatton or Pac/Foreman.

dude shut out marquez, and said he still wasn't completely satisfied with his performance....what can you take from that statement, to mean he's not ready to fight pacman?

had floyd said he fought his best fight, and doesn't think he can get any better, then that would be another story.

i'm not worried about the fight at all. once floyd came out and said, AFTER pacman destroyed cotto, that pacman was a nothing-special-one-dimensional fighter, that let me know what time it was.

as a mayweather fan, i can agree. march is ok. if ANYBODY would think march is too soon, it should be pacquiao, but since he's ready to go, there shouldn't be any problems with march from mayweather's camp.

I'm a little puzzled. Wasn't it initially Roach who said that March was too early of a date to prepare Pacquiao for Mayweather? Now, he is stating that it is Mayweather that doesn't want to fight in March? Something is just not right.

Reserved Humility

All of you Pac fans should reserve some humility. Their are two types of Pac fans. The first kind is the humble one, like Pac himself. Most of those fans don't give a *** about talking **** and calling other fighters names. They just love watch Pac fight and win, period. The second fan is the JINKEE. The one who thinks he's on Pac's payroll to defend his image. The one that acts like a Floyd fan, even worse at times. You JINKEES better reserve some humility because if Pac loses to Floyd it's going to be a hard pill to swallow. I'm willing to bet that most of you JINKEES will be on a suicide watch if Pacs loses. So stop worshipping Pac and just follow him and appreciate him. And if you are a true Pac fan, then be like Pac, humble.
