Matt, I'm not trying to be smart, just wondering if you live near Pavlik to know that he's drinking alot, to me, in what little I see of his recent photo's and news shots, he looks like he did this time last year.

Pavlik was just an over rated fighter that Top Rank shoved down the fans throat. He never had any skills. If you stand in front of any slow middleweight you can get knocked out if you let him hit you with a clean shot. Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez will both destroy Pavlik. Why the hell would he pick Miguel Espino to fight? Look how small Espino looks to Pavlik. Not a fight I wanna see

I am a big fan of what pavlik does in the ring, he is a warrior , but he needs to move up to super middleweight where all the talent is. or declare himself a junior middleweight , which he wont, but calling out the winner of williams/ martinez, is kind of bush league. He should be calling out the winner of bute/andrade , pick on someone your own size. if bute wins in good fashion that could actually be a pretty big fight and i think the styles would make for a good fight. Abraham / pavlik would have been a great war , its too bad they couldnt get it on when they had the chance.

Pavlik is major overrated !! I was waiting for someone who could box and not lay down to fight him and finally the old man Hopkins came around and showed just that. Retire Pavlik so some fans actually remember you in a good way. Continue and everyone will realise youre overrated bigtime !

how so man?...he said what was goin down...he didnt want to lose his titles which is understandable while i think he could have and should have just taken the fight with williams on the 5th 14 days isnt going to make that much of a difference IMO but thats not what happened...and if what he's sayin is ture then williams pulled out the first time and he's fightin sergio martinez not for a title...when if he just woulda just pushed it back a little more(which i dont blame him for pullin out) he woulda had a shot at two titles and the lineal 160 title...in my opinion he should waited to fight Pavlik or at least if he gets passed martinez then fight the winner of pavlik espino

ok but why should williams wait til the 19th when HBO wont televise a fight so close towards christmas? yall pavlik fans seem to forget that. So no, guys. williams is 100 percent in the right here. oh and williams never pulled out of the first fight. pavlik went and fought hopkins on an hbo ppv date instead of giving williams a lil more money. williams wanted a il more financial compensation for moving ip straight from welterweight. i guess i am the only one that makes sense on this thread.
