    Undefeated welterweight prospect Saul Alvarez (29-0, 22KOs) is likely heading to Golden Boy Promotions by 2010. Alvarez's manager Rafael Mendoza told The Record that advanced negotiations are taking place with Oscar De La Hoya, president of Golden Boy.                     They will no doubt provide him with greater exposure but GB has not demonstrated itself very able at developing young talent. Alvarez better be careful for he might get a nice signing bonus but suffer in the medium to long term.
