Here goes Mayweather again talking all his crap. First he says that the high PPV numbers for the Delahoya fight was because of him. If you look at all his previous PPV numbers compared to Delahoya at that time, the numbers will tell you that it's because of Delahoya that brought in all those high PPV numbers.

Before the fight with Marquez, he says that he chose Marquez because he carry's all of Mexico with him. Now he says that it was all him that did the 1 million buys by himself and he did not have any dance partners. BULL****!!!!!!

With all your crap talk. That's not going to fly in the negotiation table. The only thing that Arum will say is, "PROVE IT?"

And you know you can't prove all that CRAP that comes out of your mouth.

My advise. Stop being a *****! And sign the contract 50/50! PERIOD!!!!

If not, then the whole world will see you as a BIG ****ING PU$$Y!!!!!!

It's a good number of buys, but I wonder how many more buys Mayweather-Cotto would have gotten.

I think Floyd is a bigger draw than people give him credit for. Just because he is not likable does not mean he's not a draw. People love to hate Floyd, and that is why May-Pac will be the biggest PPV ever.

[QUOTE=Check;6727955]I don't know what some of you fools are talking about. 1.25 million for two non Americas is absolutely amazing. Please tell me fights between two non Americans that have surpassed these numbers. Infact how many times have we seen over a million buys without the name Oscar or Tyson associated with it. 1.25 million is very impressive.[/QUOTE

THis fight was a global event the 1.25 is just the united states alone. with UK, Europe and Asia this fight easily did ove 2 million PPV. I personally think it did better than 1.25 just Arum will not realease those numbers because he wants to line his own pockets... The greedy ****!

add to that the fact that pac/cotto was priced higher than floyd/jmm and pac/cotto sold out and they didn't have to hand out any free tickets, plus pac/cotto didn't fall on a holiday, nor did pac/cotto have 6 months of promotion... adding all this up, means floyd will have to bow down to 50/50 or even 55/45 in favor of pac.
Then Floyd can be like "I did 2.4 million PPV's, *****!!!" He also had a bigger number with Hatton.

It should be 50-50, though. This fight just needs to get done.

In both or Marquez fights with Manny, he never did over 450k. In fact his two fights with Manny combined do not equal Marquez vs Mayweather.

                  Explain

WOW. TWO MILLION PPVS! Oh, wait! It was only 1.25 million PPVs. The greatest attraction in boxing and the best fighter in the history of the sport (at least according to a lot of people on this site) could only do 1.25 million PPVs in a match that was supposed to easily beat 1.5 million and had been projected at 2 million? And this, with a guy (Cotto) who probably drew 500,000 on his own. Mayweather drew 1 million PPV with a guy who's last three fights were on cable because he can't draw on PPV and this fight only draws 1.25 million.

As many of you were saying yesterday when you thought this fight would shatter records, the numbers don't lie. Pac is obviously not as big as all the haters on this site thought. And now, Roach is calling for a 50-50 split when yesterday he was saying NO FIGHT unless Pac got 60 percent.

I love it when it is proven that I am right.!
