Aside from the change in weight, what was it like making that transition from amateur to pro? I know you've got your dad's help, but where you lined up with a promoter before making the change. I know this business is shady, and most of those guys are like sharks. Can you tell us what to look out for?

i signed with Prize Fight Promotions when i turned pro. the biggest thing we looked for was a company that would put us on a fast pace and keep us real busy. Prize Fight did it with the Peterson brothers and a lot of other young fighters. I haven been pro 11 months and I am fighting my 11 fight so they have delivered on their promise of keeping me very busy.

i guess things to look out for is make sure what a manager or promoter is promising you is proven in their track record. my dad is my manager but if you have a manager make sure he is serving a purpose. and make sure the promoters are going to let you fight 6 times a tear or so. you have to stay busy to stay sharp in these early years
