have you ever fought? coz if you have---then i feel sorry for you---coz floyd was right about everything he said---the sport of boxing has turned into a blood war, floyd, just like pep, whitaker, ali, and even roy jones, know, the rule of boxing is to hit and not get hit...of course you'll get jit, it's a contact sport, but because floyd has brilliant defense and knows how dominate guys with just his defense, then he's a runner....but pernell gets such high praise...pep gets such high praise---how the **** does a guy who is a pro fighter/champion with no losses 6 time champion in 5 weight classes with the legit title wins, no vacant title wins, a runner? you wouldn't last 2 seconds in pro boxing doing what you claim boxing is...you're such a tool....i fought for 8 years, never lost in the amateurs, coz i knew the rule of true technical boxing, hit and don't get hit, the lest you get hit, the longer you lat in this sport, and floyd just like i, understand this and appreciate it---which is why he is so damn good at what he does, and he will beat pac's ass also....

Boxing started out as a bloody brutal brawl. It hasnt turned into that. Its become more technical.

Floyd epitomizes the art of 'hit and not be hit', but it isnt exciting to the non-boxing fan.

I think in the video, Floyd was suggeting he is the better, smarter boxer. Which is true. But Pac is a big draw because of his style. Floyd is a big draw because of his mouth.

I dont know how much of it is an act, but Floyd is what Don King would want to be if he was a fighter....someone who knows how to sell, make millions, and without taking punches.

All this baiting is just part of the promotion. The wheels are in motion. The fight will happen.

Lol the same Zab Judah that lost his first fight to Cory Spinks? The same Zab Judah that was supposed to crush Carlos Baldomir and was almost doing the chicken dance toward the end of that fight? All those names you mentioned were bigger names than any other title holder at the time, to take it one step further once Judah was out of the way, did Floyd set his sights on any of those other fighters you mentioned?

I think you are missing something. Floyd was the champ! He ain't got to set his sights on anybody. As challengers, people should set their sights on Floyd! I promise you he's not scared of anybody. If the money is right and he is presented with a good offer he will take it!

Lol more revisionist history, Margarito wasn't found to have plaster back then so why turn down the 8 million? Why wouldn't Mayweather want to fight Paul Williams? Isn't that what great athletes do, challenge themselves?

How about for the same reasons he made Marquez jump up two division to fight him, is Marquez a welterweight? C'mon with these bull**** excuses, every possible meaningful fight that is mentioned to Floyd and his fans, always involve a "built-in excuse", as to why Floyd doesn't need to fight anyone. It's simple math, he is a boxer who refers to himself as the best, so he needs to fight the best and challenge himself in order to validate that point, that is how you earn the respect of fight fans, not just "fanboys".

He came back and the number 2 fighter in the world wanted to fight him. You expect Floyd to just come back and take a HUGE risk on his first fight back? Before he fought Marquez, boxing experts were saying how Floyd could have taken an easier fight and they are surprised that he is going to fight such a good fighter his first fight back. When Floyd kicked Marquez' ass 120-108, people are suddenly talking like Floyd should not have fought him. Floyd can't win for losing.
