Boxing started out as a bloody brutal brawl. It hasnt turned into that. Its become more technical.

Floyd epitomizes the art of 'hit and not be hit', but it isnt exciting to the non-boxing fan.
    Pac's fights are.

I think in the video, Floyd was suggeting he is the better, smarter boxer. Which is true. But Pac is a big draw because of his style. Floyd is a big draw because of his mouth.

I dont know how much of it is an act, but Floyd is what Don King would want to be if he was a fighter....someone who knows how to sell, make millions, and without taking punches.

All this baiting is just part of the promotion. The wheels are in motion. The fight will happen.

I think you are missing something. Floyd was the champ! He ain't got to set his sights on anybody. As challengers, people should set their sights on Floyd! I promise you he's not scared of anybody. If the money is right and he is presented with a good offer he will take it!

How about for the same reasons he made Marquez jump up two division to fight him, is Marquez a welterweight? C'mon with these bull**** excuses, every possible meaningful fight that is mentioned to Floyd and his fans, always involve a "built-in excuse", as to why Floyd doesn't need to fight anyone. It's simple math, he is a boxer who refers to himself as the best, so he needs to fight the best and challenge himself in order to validate that point, that is how you earn the respect of fight fans, not just "fanboys".
Floyd didn't make Marquez do ****. Marquez challenged Floyd! All the while knowing damn well Floyd wasn't going to fight him at 135. lol I want to know why you think Floyd needs to run around challenging people. Floyd is where the money is. If people want Floyd they should come and get him. Floyd don't care who he fights.

I know Marg wasn't known to have plaster back then. That don't change anything. Only boxing fans know who Margarito is. EVERYBODY knows Mayweather and casual fight fans will tune into Mayweather fights. Margarito can't draw a crowd except maybe in California and we all know how him and Shane did at the Staples center.

I'm not missing anything, fighters have challenged Floyd in the past, Paul Williams and Shane Mosley among a slew of other "welterweights" have been vocal about there willingness to get into the ring with Floyd. Funny thing about your comment is Floyd did set his sights on one fighter in particular for his comeback fight, a fighter two weight divisions below him, so apparently Mr. I don't have set my sights on anybody, did just that!

Again with the bull**** money argument, you a fan or a promoter? Choose one. What do you care about what Floyd makes? Stop basing your arguments on a dollar that doesn't go into your bank account. This ain't a rap video. Floyd needs to seek challenges to test his ability and cement his greatness, or else just retire and spend the "money". In fact he is already rich and no matter who he fights he still makes money right? That bull**** excuse is out the door.

He came back and the number 2 fighter in the world wanted to fight him. You expect Floyd to just come back and take a HUGE risk on his first fight back? Before he fought Marquez, boxing experts were saying how Floyd could have taken an easier fight and they are surprised that he is going to fight such a good fighter his first fight back. When Floyd kicked Marquez' ass 120-108, people are suddenly talking like Floyd should not have fought him. Floyd can't win for losing. Everybody always talks **** but everybody knows that he's the best boxer in the world.

Enough of the name calling. Are you trying to argue an intelligent point, or sling insults? I frankly don't care how much money Floyd makes. But it's naive to assume that money played no part in his decision making. I'm not making excuses. If you were on top of the world and everybody wanted your spot would you be giving everybody out there a shot? I think not. You would make the most of your status and money. Don't play games.
