And Then There Was “Money”: The Post-Fight Report Card

By Cliff Rold - We’re going to run out of superlatives eventually. Great is no longer a superlative. Great is a matter of fact, a truism. New WBO Welterweight titlist and reigning World Jr. Welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KO) is great.

Nevermind the fact that Pac was coming in the ring at 147 pounds at SFW while Floyd was 147 at WW but that doesnt matter at all because Floyd was fighting at a much bigger weight? I think all that is ******. I think Floyd should get more props for that

If all that is prop-worthy, then he should be getting his props.
Yet, he isn't getting his. Hmmmmm.... I wonder why?

il bet with anyone .. ahead of time that mayweather gives pacquiao a arturo gatti type ass beating ... call me crazy so what , lets bet ...

manny is no doubt the best p4p in the sport, hes faced some big names..but i always beleived that his style is tailored made for floyd to pick apart, i could only imagine him rushin floyd with his hands down , off balance man mayweather's right hand will need a pack of ice after...

              Good read.

Let's hope the fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao happens. It will be a fight that fans 50 from now will be talking about.

Both promoters and fighters need to understand the amount of money it would really make and get over the personal issues with each other. If they can do that then we will have us are very own Hagler Herns type fight in 2010 (sounds so futuristic).

Each could walk away with the biggest pay day in history.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao Pound for Pound # 1
