    Is Pacquiao now past-prime?

Handspeed was already a little slower, at practically the same
training weight he had in earlier camps. All that punishment he
took from Cotto has to be a factor. He's also been talking about
retirement, for well over a year now.

Pac is still a force to be reckoned with, but is he not a little bit
    past his prime?

Pac looked slower than usual. But it could just be Cotto looked really quick for 5 rounds.

No, it only looked that way because he had to fight all twelve rounds against someone with some speed/skills. He is still at his peak.

I've been following his career for quite some time now.
              I am absolutely serious.

Yes. He's that good, that his past-prime is still world-beating.
The point remains that he's lost speed in-camp and (more
              understandably) in the ring.

He's shot. He needs to hang 'em up.

                  LOL...
In case others don't get it, though...

Seriously, there's a big difference between slightly past-prime
and something as bad as "shot". It can happoen overnight, sure,
but that's not what we're talking about

I do see Pacquiao slowing down some, especially in this fight. You saw it in the 24/7 where he was more stationary taking punishment against sparring partners.

Against Cotto, Pacquiao was taking breaks against the ropes and letting Cotto get off on him. Pacquiao didn't do that as a tactic, he had to rest his legs.
