Calzaghe's division 168 where most of the time he campaigned at, was hardly a historical division
considering the sanctioning bodies started championships in the 1980's for it.

I mean it's easier to be on the top of that list than say lightweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavy or heavyweight that's for sure.

Hopkins is not a top 20 or 30 ATG... But, Hopkins is ahead of Calzaghe...

Not the best by any means but his adaptability in the ring was unrivaled, he could see what needed to be done or changed while fighting and he would do it while others just got confused by his style. He looked awkward and you can say that he slapped if you want to but he won against top competition and never lost.

People can hate on him but he is the one that retired undefeated so there you have it.
You think he is top 10 ATG? Seriously? Can you please make a top 20 ATG list? I would really love to see it. Cuz I can't believe Calzaghe will be on there.

People are really overrating this whole being undefeated thing. Sven Ottke was undefeated, Harry Simon undefeated, Zsolt Erdie is undefeated not really great fighters. Just so happend that they are undefeated cuz they did not fight strong competition...

Skill wise I would put Calzghe behind Ricardo Lopez who was also undefeated.

And rightfully so. Finito was simply a bad ass.

I did not say top 10 or maybe not top 20 but most definitely top 30 all time (there was no option for that choice) Sorry, think I misread that option as top 50. I mean people want to say he ducked this guy or that guy but the fact is he was not promoted by an American promoter that could gain him international exposure to get the "big" fights that others have gotten in the past. I'm just telling you from what I saw of him, there is no one in any division that he fought in that could beat him, including Dawson. He adapts to what is presented and changes the tide of the fight to work for him, that is a very rare skill and one that can't be taught.

He doesn't have all the achievements of other boxers in some other divisions because the other divisions had bigger fights and bigger names. Had he been a heavyweight and accomplished the same things or a welter weight and beat the top names or been American, a lot of people would be singing a different tune.
