Would it be Impossible for boxing to have a "UFC"?

I was just thinking about this to myself how I hear boxing fans stating that boxing needs a Dana White type character to organize and put on the fights fans want to see.

Well Dana is the president of an organization that pretty much runs MMA in the US.

My question is, would that even be possible for boxing? Could there be an organization that comes up, much like the UFC, and has fighters signed to them, with no promoters, just one belt per division, etc etc

Or is boxing too far gone?

That would be ******.. The best guys wouldn't fight each other like you think..

Everyone goes to the UFC, because it is there best option.. With boxing, there are a lot of options.. Not all boxer are going to join in under one name...

Even with MMA your not seeing the best guys going at it.. Like Fedor.. He's is called the best HW.. he's not in the UFC.

If they did this in boxing.. It would pretty much just be the low tier fighters joining up, because it would be there best option.

What do you mean is it too far gone.. WTF do you mean by that? The UFC is so flawed I don't even know where to begin.... ****!.

Eventually the UFC will turn into the WWE with repetitive fights.. Im not going to go into detail as I have before.. people need to stop bringing this up.. It will not work for boxing, it only works for **** like mma, because that is everyones best option.. In boxing it would only be **** boxers best option.

Boxing is worldwide like MMA (UFC is one organization) is. But how many relevant boxers can you name outside the US that have mass appeal?

Crickett is worldwide too ya know

mma is mainly in japan and the USA + canada (little USA) and the UK.

brazilian jujitsu is almost an entirely different sport.

                  boxing is worldwide.

boxing has mass appeal in germany, africa, usa, mexico, PI, japan, thailand, indonesia, australia, etc...

crickett is confined to english speaking countries as far as I know.
