What should Pacquiao do after this fight? Both scenarios

If Pacquiao manages to win his fight against Cotto, should he move back down, go up in weight and look for a belt at 154, or unify welter against Mosley?

If he loses, who should he fight in his first big fight after Cotto?

Frankly, I think Cotto will beat him but this sport is unpredictable and you never know. I think that, should he win and Mayweather does not fight him, he'll be too brave and go for Mosley. Stylistically, I see no chance he can beat Shane.

If he loses, I think he should settle all doubts in a third fight with Marquez. That's a fight that has to happen again and I'm curious as to what would happen considering that Pacquiao has become a stronger man than Marquez. Perhaps a weight issue could be influential in the outcome of the fight.

Still, I know this things will not be known until November 14, but possibilities could be looked at in advance.

I think Cotto will win. If Manny wins and Floyd dosen't wan't to fight him he dosen't have any great options. I don't think he can beat Shane. Maybe he could fight Marquez again or Khan or someone at 140 but there won't be any great fights left is Floyd dosen't wanna fight. He is certainly to small for 154.

Only one reply? I guess you have to post here everyday to be popular and get replies. Anyway.

I also think it's an interesting match if Pacquiao fights Malignaggi. malignaggi could fight Marquez and the winner gets Pacquiao at 140.

If he wins then Mayweather, if he looses then Marquez III.

IF he wins he should fight Mayweather.

IF he loses he should stay away from WW forever...and fight marquez.

Ok, but like I wrote at first. What if he wins but the Mayweather fight never happens. He should fight Marquez but then he would not have a big fight at lower weights. He might have to stay at 147 where every contender and champion will be bigger and stronger than him.

Would anyone be interested in a Pacquiao vs. Malignaggi fight at 140?

The Mayweather fight is the most important thing that could happen in his career. He should pursue that fight at 147lbs. Taking Floyd's '0' would be far more meaningful than beating Mosley or capturing a title at 154lbs or even doing both.

If for whatever reason the Mayweather fight can't come off, he should go for Mosley at 147lbs, and then settle the score with Marquez at around 140lbs.

A belt at 154lbs would be the easy route considering his options at welterweight and Marquez at 140lbs.

My bad. Well I do believe that in the case Pac wins over cotto the fight with mayweather has to be imminent, there is no way going around it.

Now remember that as a 147 belt owner he would probably defend it or five it away who knows. But still I forsee that the best fights fans would like to see in the future of pac is either with Mayweather or Marquez.

On another note, I am a Paulie fan but I do not think he should step in the ring with Pac.

And for the record I am on Cottos camp come fight night.
